Wood has one disallowed for offside after a delicious through ball from D4.

He's entitled to use the squad. He's picked a team that he thinks can beat Burton.

Always seems down the years as the 'Burnley way'. Could be flying in the league. Come up against a team not doing so well or from a lower league and we drop to their level.

Most of the changes made are players that helped us to finishing 7th last year; only McNeil and Long aren't real first teamers: Heats, Ward, Defour, are pretty decent changes to make. They need minutes & games; Long has rarely let us down and deserves his games in the cup; McNeil needs experience so the perfect game for him and a good chance to try Wood & Vydra up top giving Vydra some more fitness minutes

Pretty decent team I'd say
Not the point dp no ones suggesting it isn’t a decent team, my point is and has been consistent in keeping a winning team which breeds further confidence for Saturday. Dyche chose to chop and change in the Euro games and look at the start we had.

Most people don’t fully appreciate that in “team” games changes in personal can effect the “flow” of the team with the resulting poorer performances.

Simple header, but took it well. You have to admire the way Long just gets on with it, no matter what he's asked to do. No spat dummies, just total commitment.

Dyche spot on making changes.

I agree with you in general and our cup performances generally show that as traditionally the 2nd string play and we lose; contrast that with our league form in Dyche years and we've been successful. But I think tonight he is right to change it a bit after our start to the year with Europa and give a few a breather and a few others some game time; a fully fit squad and we can see we have the quality; it's only when a couple of injuries occur we are light but we actually have a decent squad on paper when everyone is firing.

They didn't advertise it Buxton. I just figured the EFL is shown on it, so maybe the league cup is....but only after scouring all the other channels.
