For someone like me who has become a-political that was as cringe worthy as it gets.

A bit of self-deprecating humour doesn't go amiss.

Shame a few more on this forum don't try it sometimes.

Will take her as PM anyday over that stupid pr**k Boris Johnson. She commands a hell of a lot of respect as a tough politician by the rest of European leaders.

Some interesting quotes from the conference. Lord O'Neill at least seems to have a handle on the problems.

“As far as I’m concerned,” Henley MP John Howell reflected, “Boris can just f!!k off.” The Scottish Tories have launched a campaign to stop him becoming party leader, under the name Operation Arse. As one put it: “We called it that so we’d be clear who we were talking about.” Asked what the big challenge for the Tories was, the former minister Lord O’Neill judged: “I guess key people in this party have to stop being d!ckheads, really.”

I don't have a lot of time for her, but I do get the distinct impression that when she says she wants to unify the country, she means what she is saying.

Shame the country in question is Ireland though.

Given her unique dancing 'skills' - she would have been better off with The Robots by Kraftwerk.

How, at a time of government crisis and once-in-a-lifetime negotiation of world importance, she does this, I have no idea. The biggest mistake a PM has ever made in the history of the UK, after Chamberlain.

Here's a real mover by way of contrast:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9ARcLT ... 9ARcLTcqoA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I don't know how ABBA could even form and take the stage after her. 5th rate in comparison.

Sally Carr was the Queen of Scotland, the council estate Boudica. In terms of whipping up Scottish MOJO, she was the one, I think, who may have unwittingly caused the destruction of Wembley in 75. In the song 'If you knew the reason for their fighting'... err... There wasn't one. :-)

Trust the Celts to fight amongst themselves, the Chinese and the Russians, India and the Japanese and the tiger economy are laughing at the whole nation.

A ******* awful dance has completely succeeded in distracting from the vapid reassurances and outright lies of Theresa May’s speech, Britain has confirmed.

The prime minister’s usual falsehoods about Brexit and how caring the Tories are went unchallenged by a nation left shellshocked by her ‘Abba dance’.

Tom Booker of Colchester said: “Bloody hell. Muffin the Mule was more lifelike than that. It was worse than the computer animation in 80s pop videos.

“Boris Johnson can’t match that for spectacle. I reckon – and 24 hours ago, I’d have denied anyone could ever speak these words – Jacob Rees-Mogg could dance better than that.

“What did she say? Something about Brexit being totally sorted and everyone getting pay rises, I think. I’d check in the newspapers but they’re all just full of the dance.

“Imagine knowing that’s on tape forever. Whoever advised her to do that, they’re getting sacked. She said some other stuff but all I can think of is the dance.”

Jeremy Corbyn is now planning to distract from awkward issues at the next Labour conference with a video showing the agonising awkwardness with which he makes love.

The short clips didn't put it into perspective. I watched it live (sad, I know) and found it quite funny. The music would have been funny enough on its own though.

Gawd. She's bad enough just stood there without the need to exaggerate it. Someone described her African dance routine as looking like Frankensteins monster with incontinence. Then she does it again. Does this woman ever learn?

Queen of Scotland of the early 70's, Sally Carr and Middle of The Road Scottish Mojo thrashes Queen of Ireland, Dana. For me anyway. I never fancied Dana much, but Sally Carr then was the real deal. I suppose Queen of Wales then was Helen Morgan, the disposed Miss World. England didn't really have any equivalent at the time, Slade were the English MOJO and 'Cum on Feel The Noiz.'

Maybe Theresa May is being cute for a darker purpose.
