Re: Trump's Lies
I don't think there's a great choice for either British or American voters at present !! " Least worse option " springs to mind ....
I do wonder, however, just how many Americans will be at parties, friends houses or at work, muttering " Shocking ", " A dreadful man " etc and then voting for the Donald in the privacy of the voting booth, as their incomes are rising & the Economy is improving...

Still going on about the Clintons, eh?
You don't care about her emails, if you did then you'd care about Trump's hacked iphone.
But the funny thing is that the only real complaint you have is about Obama and the claim that people can keep their doctor. That's it. Every other complaint is bullshit. Because you can't think for yourself. You're just parroting what you've been told to parrot by your chums on Gab and 4chan.
Relatively speaking yes, the Democrats are the pillars of honesty and integrity. Over 6,000 lies Trump has told as president. Georgia has a clearly corrupt Secretary of State running the election he is competing in. This after the last elections in that state where he had important election data deleted days after a lawsuit landed that required that data to check to see how rigged the election of Karen Handel was last year.
Voter suppression, racist robocalls, racist campaigns, blatant lies. These are all almost entirely Republican campaign tactics, and once again i'm only saying "almost all" because there might be one or two democrats who are relying on deceit for their campaign, but none come to mind because it's not a staple of their argument. However pretty much every Republican is campaigning on how they are the only ones who can protect coverage for pre-existing conditions - this despite them having FOUR different lawsuits in progress to remove that protection, and having voted in congress against it about 70 times (no exaggeration).
Right-wing politics in America is a cesspit of corruption, lies, and anti-democratic practices.

It's really easy to disprove too, if he attended a funeral. All he has to do is name the person whose funeral he attended. Surely if he lost "hundreds" of friends he'd have bothered to attend at least some of their funerals. Or maybe he was too busy celebrating that his building was the new tallest building.
Re: Trump's Lies
Go away. After the Kavanaugh debacle democrats lost any claim to decency. One of the accusers has admitted lying and suddenly you don't want to talk about the issue anymore. Just shows that you could n't give two hoots about the alleged victim.Imploding Turtle wrote:Still going on about the Clintons, eh?

I'm more than willing to keep talking about the issue of having an attempted rapist on the US Supreme Court. I just didn't see much point since while I had the winning argument, the pro-rape side had the votes. I still want the investigation to happen, a full one, but you're never going to change your mind. All you're interested in doing is talking about an idiot who lied as if that somehow discredits Dr Ford who has had her story corroborated by Kavanaugh's own evidence, and you won't be moved by the fact that Kavanaugh lied repeatedly.
I'm interested in the facts, but what is the point in discussing it with someone like you who isn't interested in facts?

Because if it's not infowars or breitbart then it's not "real news", is it?

You keep telling lies and then criticise Trump. If FORD'S evidence was corroborated then why was n't he convicted. Re: Trump's Lies
You've repeatedly whined about there being no corroboration. His calendar corroborates her story. She said she attended a house party on a weeknight, and present were Kavanaugh and his three mates. His calendar backs that up. So either she guessed incredibly accurately, had seen his calendar prior to him using it as evidence, or she and him were at the exact same place the night of her assault.Uwe Noble wrote:You keep telling lies and then criticise Trump. This isn't a lie, it's a fact. You can say i'm telling lies all you like but you're only lying to yourself to make you feel better for taking the side of someone who is probably an attempted rapist.
And he wasn't convicted because he wasn't on trial. lol. He was at a job interview, and his interviewers were absolutely desperate not to have these allegations looked into thoroughly. That's why they couldn't let him talk to the FBI, because if he did he'd have to lie to them, and that's would be a crime, of which the Republicans would've been powerless to prevent an investigation.
But keep lying to yourself. I'm fine with that.

You are talking complete ********. She cannot give a date and never has been able to. In fact, initially, she could n't even give a year. Once again you avoid answering the question so let me take it simple for you and repeat the question: IF FORDS EVIDENCE WAS CORROBORATED THEN WHY WAS N'T KAVANAUGH CONVICTED?

Re: Trump's Lies
I've answered your stupid question. He wasn't on trial. And corroboration is not the same as proof of guilt, which is now what you claim to be demanding. So now you're moving the goalposts. First you demanded corroboration, then when there is some you turn to demanding proof of guilt.Uwe Noble wrote:You are talking complete ********. She cannot give a date and never has been able to. This wouldn't surprise me. Democrats need about a 5.5% majority in the popular vote to even be favourite win the House thanks to gerrymandering. They could conceivable win the popular vote by 10% but because of gerrymandered districts the GOP keep control.
Plus with voter suppression and Russia fiddling with the votes knowing they won't face consequences it's going to be tough for the Dems to win any control.
I think the media are hugely over-estimating Democrat's chances, although i understand why. It's quite taboo for the press telling the people that their vote might not matter right before an election.

Re: Trump's Lies
Last 3 elections (since gerrymandering went to industrial levels) Republicans has a popular vote advantage in House elections of:
2016: +1.1%,
2014: +5.7%
2012: -1.2% (yes, they lost this one)
The majority they had in House seats:
2016: +10.8%
2014: +13.6%
2012: +7.6%
This is because of gerrymandering. I suggest you research it before you make yourself look stupid by claiming it doesn't exist.

Free speech was never in question with regards to Gab. But i'm glad you lot have a place again to talk about how much you hate others. It means i can find out which companies associate with you again so that i can avoid using them.
Hate will never win.

I'm a supporter of individual freedoms, fascists and nazis aren't. I oppose lies and corruption, fascists and nazis don't. I support truth and a free press, fascists and nazis call the truth 'lies' and the free press 'fake news'.
