Likewise. I've just been looking at the last series I watched all the way through - it was when Timmy Mallet was on - 2008! I saw a bit of the one with Craig Charles in, but other than that, I've just looked at the people going in and not bothered.cricketfieldclarets wrote:100 percent.
I doubt id have watched it if it was full of people famous for trying to be famous.

Cyclone tonight.
John isn't fit to do it so he just has to do throw the stars to them in a token effort to keep him invloved.
A bit of a tip for you Holly is doing the Cyclone on the ITV 2 show.

There goes my bet.
To be fair, most of this years camp wouldve won it any other year.

Shes great. Harrys a worthy winner though.
Been great this year. Theyve all actually entertained. And next to no bitching and arguing.

Can’t believe fleur is out. Bloody fixed I tell you.
What an abosulutely lovely young woman. Don’t think I’d ever get bored in her presence.
Easy on the eye too.
Oh well, Emily will get my vote now.

I think he's lived a bit of a sheltered life, with money and a wife that appears to do everything for him. He comes across as genuine though, just not the brightest. I watched Gogglebox the other night and it did make me laugh when somebody asked, "Is Harry the one who always looks drunk?"Steve1956 wrote:Watched this last night is Harry good at acting thick or is he just actually thick

Not watched much of it this year found it to be boring.
Couldn't stand it when everybody gets on, the show is short of some drama Queens.
Enjoyed all the bickering in the past and bitching. This year it has been plain boring with the same or similar trials. Time to pot the show it has run its course

Hard to believe that a man aged 72 had never drunk a cup of hot chocolate and that he had to travel deep into the Australian Bush to sample it.

I'm sure he's aware what doing well will mean for him after the show. He'll know that he'll have offers on the table for panel shows and what not. He also mentioned in one of the first episodes that he's always wanted to have some acting roles, so who knows, he may be forcing a few things.Steve1956 wrote:He's just Thick then?

Think its been good to see how determined theyve all been and how easy theyve made tough trials look. Because of how good wach one has been the others HAVE to 'smash' the trials.
Only Anne has said get me out of here.
As for Harry. Definitely not the sharpest tool academically. And very sheltered. But hes clearly a top guy. For a man of his age to last so long as well and do the trials he has is incredible. I know people half his age who couldnt endure a couple of days.

Think of all the camp mates Emily will gain the most career wise from this exposure.

Redknapp wins. That was buying money for the last couple of weeks. Only way he wouldve lost is if he walked. Which he was never going to do.
Worthy winner. Great series.

Really enjoyed it. Top telly and delighted old Arry won.
Re: I'm a Celeb
A deserved winner.
What a great man Mr Redknapp is, funny, down to earth and a generally great guy.
Still so in love with his wife after 54 years, and truely loves the bones off her. Was great to see.

Re: I'm a Celeb
One thing I didn't like and that's the Extra show that's on ITV2 afterwards. I only saw bits of them during this series and watched the last one, but what a load of crap. Scarlett Moffatt isn't a presenter, and often looked lost. And the bits I've seen during the series had 'celebs' on who had very little about them and was full of the sort of people they thankfully didn't have in the jungle. They should get Holly to present it next year or just do away with it. Perhaps have an interview with the person who has left the jungle that day and that's it.
Re: I'm a Celeb
I agree Frank, the extra show is garbage and cringeworthy. The presenters are terrible. The contestants looked like they didn't want to be on there but probably part of the contract.FactualFrank wrote:One thing I didn't like and that's the Extra show that's on ITV2 afterwards. I don't think Harry will benefit from winning and all the extra exposure. Interviews like the one he gave above could destroy him.
Fleur and Emily on the other hand could have a great two years or so.
