Re: Fulham at home
It a good job McNeil has come good or this could have really been a bad situation if Gudmundsson is out on Saturday
I think we will see Hendrick in his position Gudmundsson is out and that's not ideal either

Re: Fulham at home
If Dyche is saying doubtful that pretty much means he's out. Might go back to 3-5-2 to counter our lack of wide men. It's asking a lot of McNeil to step up and be our only real creative force again in such a big game.

Do you mean like we did v Everton?

Think Everton was done to our players turning up with the wrong attitude, rather than the formation.Silkyskills1 wrote:Do you mean like we did v Everton?

Re: Fulham at home
I'd be stunned if we did that given how it didn't work against Everton, stunned.jrgbfc wrote:If Dyche is saying doubtful that pretty much means he's out. Put Hendrick on the flank, or even Defour, but keep the basic shape that the players understand.

Re: Fulham at home
I don't agree. Everton was partly due to our recurring in ability to defend set plays properly, but certainly the second and third goals were a direct consequence of the system.jrgbfc wrote:Think Everton was done to our players turning up with the wrong attitude, rather than the formation.

Absolutely no way SD will use that again.
Re: Fulham at home
I suspect we'll stick to 4-4-2 pretty much for the rest of the season with Tom Heaton in goals.

Re: Fulham at home
Fulham gave England defender Gary Cahill, 33, Nigeria winger Victor Moses and England midfielder Danny Drinkwater, both 28, a training ground tour in an attempt to lure them away from Chelsea
Seems they are prepared to spend their way out of trouble.

Of course they will try they are unbelievably rich all of a sudden and both are goos players. Hope it blows up squarely in their faces.IWOODLOVETT wrote:Fulham gave England defender Gary Cahill, 33, Nigeria winger Victor Moses and England midfielder Danny Drinkwater, both 28, a training ground tour in an attempt to lure them away from Chelsea

If true rhe players must be interested or they wouldnt have mossied on up there.
Re: Fulham at home
Fulham's away form is very poor as they've played eleven games but only got two points so far!

Re: Fulham at home
Not exactly a long way to go. That would be a hellof a lot in fees and wages right there for those three. Fulham could end up going down with one of the highest wage bills in the league at this rate. IF they did it could be a massive problem for them.mybloodisclaret wrote:If true rhe players must be interested or they wouldnt have mossied on up there.
Re: Fulham at home
Took West Ham quite a few games to get their signings up to speed - losing their first four matches.
Fulham could be well adrift if the same happened to them.

A free kick that Joe Hart should of saved and a stupid handball by Mee were down to the system?claretspice wrote:I don't agree. Everton was partly due to our recurring in ability to defend set plays properly, but certainly the second and third goals were a direct consequence of the system.
Individual errors more like.

Spijed ............
"Some forget that a few wins in a row completely closes the gap between the teams above us."
Our results can not possibly affect the gap between the teams above us. Only their results can alter that gap.

In fairness I think we all understood the sentiment.Bullabill wrote:Spijed ............
