My opinion, and it’s only my opinion, is that the board/Pace have asked the Academy Manager to draw up the list so they can identify what to do in the transfer market in the absence of having a manager at the time.
Edit- and the fact he has resigned instead of being sacked.
That would make no sense though, since they had a) Mooney, who had all the data to hand, b) Bellamy/Jackson who had actually trained these guys, c) Jenkins, this guys boss - all of whom
He also constantly refers to his employer as ‘they’, not ‘we’ or ‘us’. Obviously a mole, giving someone the inside track.
The only explanation here is that another agent wanted the lowdown on who we might sell and how much for and he’s been a mole in the camp.
Being honest though, I’m struggling to believe this whole thing:
1. Why would he put an informal/Whatsapp communication on letter headed paper?
2. Surely as a football person you would provider a deeper technical assessment of players? This sounds like a guy talking down the pub. He doesn’t even offer a veneer of knowledge on the players - their strengths, weaknesses, stats.
3. Everything in that letter was in the public domain - the fees, the injuries, their ex clubs, etc. Anyone really interested could’ve found out that information within minutes.
