I don't like that the club is outsourcing ticketing to one of the slimiest companies in the world to save on a few quid. It's less local jobs, more money for the fat cats and I guarantee will be a worse experience for the user.
It will save the current owners few quid short term but long term (not that they care about long term), it will be a negative for the club, and something else for the future owners/chairmen to sort out.

How do you reckon that it'll save the Club money?CoolClaret wrote: ↑Fri Jun 21, 2024 6:19 pmI don't like that the club is outsourcing ticketing to one of the slimiest companies in the world to save on a few quid. Can you pay on the gate?
Re: Burnley to use Ticketmaster from next season
Should have used Althams. Has anyone consulted the fans on this?
Re: Burnley to use Ticketmaster from next season
Interestingly I've just received an email from Hull City who I have an account with.
They used the same ticket system as Burnley last year but are also switching to Ticketmaster. I wonder if that ticket company has been bought out or something.

For those whingeing about Ticketmaster booking fees, you'd do well to read the FAQ's the club published along with this announcement - which categorically states no booking fees.

I wonder if the ridiculously unfair admin fee for using the ticket exchange will also go? I doubt it.
The whole premise of the Exchange is that the club only give us our money back IF they sell on the ticket, at the walk on price, so their profit margin is high anyway.

I think the company we used is called Talent. We were one of a number of clubs using it including Hull. I’m not sure who now but I think we can add Leeds and Stoke to the list but there are a good number more.

I've just had a mail from Millwall letting me know that Ticketmaster are their new "ticketing partner".ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 10:52 amI think the company we used is called Talent. In relation to tickets, I see Leeds have capped away tickets at £30.

Cardiff have written to every other club offering a reciprocal deal at £20. We will know soon whether we’ve accepted that when they put tickets on sale for the game at the Turf. Brilliant gesture by Cardiff and one even Leeds took up last season.Bordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 2:56 pmIn relation to tickets, I see Leeds have capped away tickets at £30.

Let’s hope we do the right thing.

Maybe they think they're in the PL!Bordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Tue Jul 09, 2024 2:56 pmIn relation to tickets, I see Leeds have capped away tickets at £30.

Re: Burnley to use Ticketmaster from next season
its all about improving the experience, Ticketmaster will certainly be an improvement over the system we've had recently. trying to order tickets online has been a farce.
cant wait for it to change. Maybe someone will answer the phone now also.
