Paul Merson

Post by claretandblue » Thu Feb 02, 2017 10:32 pm

Predicts a 2-1 victory for the Clarets on Saturday! Is this a good thing or a bad thing?!

Well I think he normally predicts we'll lose and gets it wrong
so lets hope that's not the case now he's decided to back us.

If he does get it right then I think I will feel very confident that we will
stay up. I mean 32 points with 14 games still to play.

It's got to be, hasn't it?

He has actually gone for us to win 2.0 the last two home games.

Has he? - Wow.

Though it still took him long enough to catch on. ;)

All of the bookies have had us second favourites in each of our last five home matches.

Disrespectful or just plain stupid.....or both ?

You can choose.

I choose not true.

We were definitely favourites against Sunderland.

I'd take more notice of Paul Merton. At least he states his employment as a comedian :P

I agree with karate. I think it's called a "back-handed compliment".
