Could play either. Also off the left in Kompany’s inside winger / midfielder position.

According to TM, he's an attacking midfielder, who can operate on either wing, makes sense if VK wants us to deploy a more fluid system.

Just had a read up on Twine...20 goals from midfield....when I saw he had 20 goals I thought Center Forward.....Wow....just hope we keep Vydra now....looking forward to ripping that division.

How long have we waited for a genuine "No 10" and also for someone with a good free kick.Someone like him could score as many direct free kicks in the Championship as our combined forwards did all season in the PL. De Four, Hendrick and Brownhill all being tried in the No 10 role. Is this not the position Orsic would have filled. Good vision to get such a good young footballer

Indeed-I said yesterday that if VK can convince half those being rumoured to sign, then he has already justified his first years salary

I noticed the other day that Swansea are missing a signing on there - Harry Darling. Cardiff also signed a young lad from Reading yesterday - Andy Rinomhota.

The kind of signing we should have been making years ago instead of people like Crouch, Stephens, Lennon, Walters, Bardsley etc. A few more of his calibre and we may be in for some good football at Turf Moor.

Having just watched his goals and assists on YouTube. The lad can shoot , he can pass and see a pass, he can dribble and go forward. Looks a very tidy prospect, only thing I didn’t see him do was head a ball. Genuinely think we have a player here

Very good signing. The stand out player in League 1 last season. Sounds like he and McNeil might be an excellent source of creativity with both operating as attacking midfielders. Looking forward to seeing him in action for us.

That's a quality signing. Exactly the sort of young player we should be going for. He was quite clearly too good for League One and he's only 22 so plenty of room to improve. Welcome to Burnley FC, Scott!
