He came across very well in his first interview. Seems very level headed. Obviously excited but not overawed. Brilliant!

I think this is a good one. Only clips I know, but he looks a player from the videos I’ve seen.
Brilliant to have two young players with bags of potential on board so early.

Quote from the Oxford manager, now included in the article: "Luke had been a credit to himself and his family. It’s not always easy to make the adjustment from part time football to playing and training every day but he made that step up very quickly and I think the fans could all see the potential he has. Burnley are a terrific club and we wish him well."

The only bits I've seen from him has actually been him bringing the ball out from the back.
He looks like someone who can turn defence into attack very quickly.

Good luck to him.
Sounds like we didn't pay very much for him either.

Out of interest, who will have scouted this guy?
We don't even know the coaching staff yet, do we?

If he’s good - Kompany
If he’s rubbish - Pace

Good to read of another one being confirmed, don't know much him about apart from what I've read, but he does seem well thought of at Oxford, and he's seemingly a ball playing CB, so he and Twine both fit the passing ethos VK is trying to instil in our club.
2 signings in this window, and both only 22, clearly shows we're embarking on a radical change in strategy, but I for one wholly embrace such a move.

Welcome to the club Luke.
Don't know too much about him but if he's got potential Kompany will nurture it.
It's such a breath of fresh air getting the signings in early.
Just hope we can hold on to some of our better players to compliment the newcomers.

Just looking at the club video of him meeting VK and Mr Pace at Gawthorpe...is that Willo Flood with him ? He is an agent now and ex Irish international and City player of course

He comes across as a wonderful lad as well. I trust Kompany meant what he said about McNally’s quality as a defender. Wish him a great future at Burnley. Excitement all around really. UTC!

Recruitment department I would imagine. That’s how it usually works. Kompany has already spoken highly of them.

Is it just me, or are things far more secretive under the new owners?

In terms of staff, very much so. It was a local journalist who reported that Hodge had gone and, believe it or not, I got the exclusive on Ally Beattie going. The club don’t report stuff like that now although they did announce that Dyche and his team had gone.

Was any reason given for needing a change of physio?

I got told over 20 members of staff went when Dyche went is that true?
