Excellent - not used to such activity, can somebody list the signings (5?) so far? Also their positions.

Seen suggestions by some football pundits/journos this could be the pound for pound best signing in the league this season.

There`s a real revolution going on at Turf, liking what I see.
Guess this sort of thing has been needed for a long while and so pleased with VK`s signings thus far.
Can`t wait for season to start

we knew we had a 're-build' needed, probably even before relegation, very happy that the new boss has identified his targets early and the club are getting the business side done.

Only time will tell if these players (and the boss) will be successful, but I totally applaud the work done son far.

Can't wait to get behind the new team, the new boss and the new era!! UTC!

Got a sneaky feeling this might be our signing of the summer - IF he stays fit.

Welcome to Burnley, Samuel.

‘Samuel Bastien is a strong signing for Burnley if they complete the deal. Progressive ball player, always positive looking forward and playing the ball into the space for the attackers. His best role is as an advanced playmaker. Think he’d really set the Championship alight.’

Welcome to Burnley Samuel, looking forward to seeing you play and hope all goes well at your new club.

Well this transfer window has put to bed that old adage that nothing can happen untill the last week of the window. Maybe it's the pull of a new manager, maybe it's a better set of negotiators in place or maybe it's just a case of chasing the right prospects. What ever it is, it's better !

Or maybe it's that we've dropped a division and not looking for the same level of player.

Bastien is at a level where Liverpool, West ham and Everton have all been interested in buying him at some point in the last few years

It was good of him to turn those clubs down in favour of playing in the championship for us.

Don't know much about him, apart from the snippets I've read on here, but it appears we now possess a genuine midfield play-maker at long last.

And a modest fee to boot, even better if that allows us to now pursue other targets, namely a striker, with Bastien, McNeil and Twine creating they shouldn't be short of chances this season.

Everyone's signing for Vinny aren't they?

Whoever's asking the questions on the clubs interviews needs to mix it up a it though. All 5 have been asked the same crap.

Just hope our new defence isn't leaky or else we could be winning 5-4 every week rather than 5-0

Both updated
Is he Samuel Sebastian or Samuel Bastian? You have him as Sebastian in the signing sticky, but as Bastian in the article and squad list.

Help, I've missed a signing.
2 Centre halves, the goalscoring midfielder, and this lad. Who is the fifth... or fourth I guess.

N.B I'm seriously out if touch with our squad during off season.

This is exactly it from how I see it.

It has been always about trying to maintain the PL status but when you haven't achieved that - it does bring an opportunity for us to do the rebuild. This is all it is and a great opportunity to bring youth through and have time for them to grow with the club.

THB, CJ Egan Riley & Luke McNally are the 3 defenders -
Twine & Bastien are the 2 more attacking players.

Well quite.

Also agents don't know VKs preferred playing style at Burnley so there will be more interest from a range of player's agents.

And everyone knows that we are looking for players because we've let so many go and need to recruit.

Also we have a relatively big budget in the Championship (for a couple of years at least) and that will interest a lot of players who would not be good enough for a PL side.

And and and....!

You had me in a panic that Raggus that I'd got his name wrong in the article but it was just a typo in the signings sticky which I've now corrected. Thanks for pointing it out.
