The Championship is a lottery without VAR. The offside decisions are absolutely clinical and yesterdays goal by Anthony would have got us the 3 points. Having said that we would have lost to Blackburn with their disallowed goal being clearly ONSIDE

But we also had a penalty turned down. Anyway even if jot we would still be at least a point better off. It was a truly awful decision. Baffling

VAR would have made no difference last night. They would not have overturned the referee's decision, because he did touch the defender and they would have said it was down to the ref's interpretation of the so called 'foul'.

Don't forget Preston had a perfectly good goal disallowed against us too so it's swings and roundabouts regarding the goal, you win some you lose some.

The clear home team biass on any 50/50 decisions was what was inexcusable for me from the officials.

Did Bastards have a goal disallowed? I genuinely can’t remember.

I do remember Preston having a good goal ruled out.

Sorry but the ref was in no position to see of there was a push. The lino would have been though. Did he speak to the ref via audio. If he did he needs to resign.

The fact that, in our opinion, the ref was in no position to see is totally irrelevant. VAR would only interfere if there was a clear and obvious error. The fact that there was a touch in the defender's back would mean that it was solely down to the referee's opinion whether or not in hindered him and VAR would stick with his decision.

The fact that the ref was a wrong and a complete tosser is not in question.
