Had Trump been all consumed with the economy ( and being re-elected) then he would not have put the country on lockdown in the first placetiger76 wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 7:34 pmOf course it's a consideration,as it is for all countries, the difficulty is finding the right balance, between protecting the vulnerable, and trying to mitigate the long term economy damage, the difference with Trump is he's not interested in whether it's good for the American people,he only cares about getting back into the WH. Now whether a sitting Democrat president would act any differently isn't aanybody has the answer to,they might well have taken the same decision to prioritise the economic recovery, ultimately the choice rests with the American electorate, and they'll deliver their verdict in November.

Key Points
Democrat lawmakers plea to Trump administration to share with Congress the allegedly “enormous” evidence showing that the coronavirus sprang from a Chinese lab. Otherwise, they warn, the administration should quit hyping questionable information.
US military and intelligence officials have seen no evidence to support the theory the virus escaped from a Chinese lab
Both Republicans and Democrats are critical of China’s handling of the crisis (slow-footed early response and a seeming reluctance to share information with the world) but there is wariness around some of the anti-China rhetoric emanating from Trump aides as the pandemic has killed more than 70,000 Americans

But the administration is working overtime to shift the blame away from themselves, and even our own health and intelligence officials have cast doubt on the Wuhan lab theory that the President and Secretary Pompeo are pushing,” the aide said. “If Secretary Pompeo has evidence, Congress and the public should see all of it, without spin and without cherry-picking.”

With regards to sensationalised dossier news story at least one of America’s closest intelligence allies, Australia, which is part of a five-country intelligence-sharing arrangement known as the Five Eyes, is now openly shooting down the Wuhan lab leak theory

Trump administration has shelved its own CDC guidelines to reopen the country without allowing the report to see the light of day.
I wonder why. Must not have included regular bleach injections.
So much for listening to the experts.

Case against Micheal Flynn dropped by DOJ. Hope he can sue the balls off all concerned. Remember this goes right to the very top of the previous government. This is going to be fun. Can’t wait to see the spin the Dems put on this one.

Re: Donald Trump
It should be interesting if he does sue. He did plead guilty twice. No spin required though. This is just Trumps bought and owned AG doing his bosses bidding again. Anybody with half a brain can see that Barr was given a set of tasks when he was made AG. He worked for a foreign country ,lobbying for them in washington and did not disclaim it. Not sure what is so difficult to understand about that.
And how does this go back to the previous government?
And why did Trump fire him for lying to Mike Pence?
Lets see your spin on those points

Re: Donald Trump
Do you see a conspiracy around every corner?
What about the other associates of big Don? Also conspiracy theories?
Michael Cohen? Obviously set up.
I could list them all off but I don't have the time.
Trump university? Another set up?
The Trump charity rip offs?
Seriously, some times people are just guilty. Sometimes Democrats and sometimes Republicans.
What are your thoughts on bridgegate?

Re: Donald Trump
Flynn is the tip of the iceberg. The DOJ have been caught. Nothing to do with AG. Just wait until the reports get released. Remember Schiff has irrefutable evidence against Trump so he should be thrilled to release the docs which he is being forced to do. I completely agree with the supreme courts unanimous judgement on Bridge gate. Read the findings and even you should understand.

The tables are about to be turned in a very big way. Flynn was framed. It can't be denied, the documents released by the FBI and Justice department are damning.

God Bless America, which sexual abuser will they elect, https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-52584774 is it any wonder half the country doesn't bother voting, when this is the calibre of candidates served up by both main parties.
The cynic in me is wondering why these allegations against Biden are only surfacing now, surely there wouldn't be a political motive,i do have to hold my sides laughing, when Trump supporters try to make capital out of this story,of course Donnie grabbing women by the genitals is perfectly acceptable.
In my opinion i'd strongly argue neither Biden or Trump are fit for office, and if this is the best America can offer, then their standing in the world will continue to plummet. To think this was the nation that gave us the likes of Abraham Lincoln and Franklin Roosevelt, what on earth went wrong?

Power is its own worst enemy.
Look at Rome and indeed The British empire.
The USA will hold on,for a fair while longer, but the American experiment is failing. America now has it's own Caligula, but he is a symptom not a cause.

Bidens alleged groping is surfacing now for exactly the same reason as were Trumps and Kavanaghs. All purely political farce. What goes around comes around. I still dont believe that Biden will actually make it to the ballot box, but I hope he does.

Re: Donald Trump
Amazing how liberals are now the party of the establishment. To be fair, conservatives now appreciate the importance of civil liberties. I just listened to Professor Alan Dershowitz point out that agreeing to plead guilty when charged by the FBI reduces your sentence ten fold. Apparently, Flynn's defence has cost him $10 million, they threatened to charge his son and we now know the FBI illegally witheld exculpatory evidence. Given all this it's a wonder that he did n't plead guilty earlier.Bordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Fri May 08, 2020 5:32 pmHe must feel a right chump for pleading guilty.

Don't cream you self too quickly.
Do they have an emoji for that?
All that you are gloating about is the independence of the american Judicial system.
Nobody benefits long term from this.
Trump and Barr will be as famous as Judge Taney and Buchanen.
I might be proven wrong, but I have heard it said that there are more Republicans than Democrats in the FBI and CIA.
Something to think about. I don't think any of the Members of either, not selected by Don , will be happy about either this decision or the previous interference by Don and his AG wrecking ball , in the Roger Stone case.
You think Donnie won, but at the cost of all of us, including yourself.
Gloat away. Enjoy yourself.Everyone else did during the bleach injection fiasco. You have earned it. Practice some more with your emojis.
