Seems that there are conflicting media reports about Cornet. A couple of days ago it was reported that Hertha Berlin had offered 8m Euros and OL were looking at 10m. Now it seems that the asking price has shot up to 20m. Also it is now reported that "The player is nonetheless interested in the Premier League." whereas before it was said that he is more keen on joining the German side.

Good info CAJ, Cornet is injured is he, aye right course he is, I don't know much about this guy, but if we're prepared to break our transfer record we must really rate him.

I guess as usual it's a case of watch this space and see what the coming days bring.

Yes I've mentioned him on other threads, and I'm not the only poster, for what we're apparently spending on Cornet, we might be able to pick up Christie and Wallace combined. and those 2 joining would turn a distinctly average window into a pretty good one.
