Burnley have 4 new cases of Covid within the squad, aswell as Sean Dyche and coach Steve Stone.

Nick Pope still hasn't trained, whilst Brownhill is a maybe.

They'll be another round if testing tomorrow, so a possibility of further cases for an already depleted squad.

The team for Huddersfield will be whatever we can possibly patch together.

What if the game is between two teams that aren't in the Premier League? Do you mean the FA have said there will be no FA Cup postponements? I understand that all registered players, including youth team are counted in determining if a club has got enough players to put up a team.

Is there any risk of any of the games being called off because of snow or other bad weather?

Absolutely, I'm almost positive ( probably the wrong word ) that other teams would be bending any rules possible to suit themselves.

I'm glad we are happy to field a side where possible.

But with several staff absent from coaches, physios and analytical I'm not sure how much we can or have done regards preparing.

It'll be a case of who's available and fitting them into some sort of team.
Even the lads coming back from covid might still have some after effects and not be 100%

There will still be some very sad individual tragedies but the rest of the population will develop a significant degree of ‘natural’ immunity.

Better for the unvaccinated in many poor countries to be exposed to a relatively mild variant than be exposed to a lethal new one.

Interesting to see if we get the cup game called off just so the Watford game can be when we have a better squad. Presumably we would play Huddersfield then instead.

Firstly get well soon to all those players and staff who are ailing right now.

Secondly there's a difference in PL games and FA Cup ties, PL teams can only name a squad of 25 between each window, whereas for FA Cup ties they can select anybody from within their squads.

So I highly doubt the Huddersfield game is in fear of being called off, although in the present climate you can never be 100% certain.

A good chance for the youngsters to get a taste of 1st team action, as in the event of relegation we may be reliant on some of them next year. So Huddersfield is an ideal barometer of where they are in their development.

Not sure there is any real evidence that having had Covid there is then immunity from catching it again. From what I can glean on this issue ' Opinion is divided!'

Me my wife and 12 year old daughter all tested positive this week after dodging it for 2 years. Me and the wife are triple vaccinated and my daughter is vaccinated. My wife and I did our positive pcr on the 4th, neither of us are that bad. My daughter did a lateral flow this morning after 2 previous negative ones and tested positive. At the moment she's feeling the worst out of the three of us. Like the previous poster said the vaccines lessen the chance of serious illness. It really is rife out there now.

Not sure there is any real evidence that having had Covid there is then immunity from catching it again. From what I can glean on this issue ' Opinion is divided!'

The downside to that is by allowing the virus to percolate in such away more opportunity is given for it to mutate. That’s why there’s an increasing recognition that until vaccination is really driven home in poorer countries we will remain, to some extent, locked in this cycle.

Same as my household, literally in the space of 3 weeks it seems the majority of my family and friends have all had it, all ok though thankfully.
Hope the daughters ok, I had a fever and terrible headache for 24 hours, slept that off and then just had a bit of a cough for 2-3 days.
