Lots of shouts of "Handball" tonight then following his VAR cock up in the Everton/City game.

Always good when your boss criticises your mistakes publicly. He’ll be full of confidence tonight

I'm a little nervous about this. Local hacks are claiming Everton could fall into the bottom 3 because of him tonight If we win.
He might try to stop that so less heat on him.

During the match commentary they said Martin Atkinson was on VAR ......i was shocked he hadn't given a pen....but with Kavanagh nothing surprises me.Guller Bull wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 12:33 pmLots of shouts of "Handball" tonight then following his VAR cock up in the Everton/City game.

Reassuring to have Lee Mason on VAR in case of any cock-ups....

I’d be appealing for everything in the box tonight. When was the last penalty we had ? I can’t recall it at all.

Taffy --which match are you talking about? Kavanagh was VAR to Paul Tierney in the Man City v Everton match but Martin Atkinson was fourth official and, technically, would not have been part of the debate.Taffy on the wing wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 4:50 pmDuring the match commentary they said Martin Atkinson was on VAR ......i was shocked he hadn't given a pen....but with Kavanagh nothing surprises me.

I seem to remember them saying Atkinson on VAR.......that's why i thought it would definitely be a pen.
I don't think he even looked on the monitor did he?... Shocking decision all round & stinks of corruption.

The marks for the referee will make interesting reading later tonight. Not expecting them to be good

For the first time and hopefully the last. He was very poor.

Anfield I think over a year ago. looks like we'll go the whole season without one at this rate.Blatherwickstattoo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 01, 2022 5:12 pmI’d be appealing for everything in the box tonight. When was the last penalty we had ? I can’t recall it at all.
Kavanagh's first and hopefully last visit for the season.
