I really don't know how the management / recruitment team have managed to target so many players from so far afield in the time span allowed.
It really is mind boggling from a BFC fans point of view in comparison to many recent seasons.
However they have achieved this minor miracle it's certainly brightened things up this season.
If they are all of the same ilk then we are in for a really treat

Without being too derogatory towards any player, but could you imagine what Dale Stephens reveal video would have looked like.
We did one. It had him signing lots of contracts and quipped ‘that took a long time to sign’ or something like that!

You think we could have signed Premier League first team players at these prices?
No, but we could have enhanced the squad.

That’s a question for this time next year if we do go up

Your list equates to one every two years, hardly edge of your seats stuff.

We did enhance the squad, just not in large numbers. But we’ve been shopping in Aldi rather than Harrods this window, it’s no surprise we’ve managed to buy more.

But as someone has pointed out, excluding the loan players, we have only bought about 4 first team players.
It's all relative. We could have bought potential in the past windows but didn't really.

No, but we aren’t exactly signing first team renowned players for the championship are we? We would have done the same in the PL make no doubt had Kompany had been here.

How many players have we now? We can only register 25 so some are going to miss out at this rate. Goalkeepers could take 3 spots unless we go with just 2.

The likes of THB CJ and Costelloe(Been with us for a few years) wouldn’t need to be registered I don’t think. Not sure about the Foreign U21s

I was on the edge of my seat when we finished 7th in the Premier League. What about you?

We sold pr lost most of our best players this close season and had to rebuild so.its not at all comparable. A decent team adds one or two not ten. Dyche was starved of money. This haranguing of Dyche is brainless. I am delighted with what we are doing in this lower division with these signings and loans but lets see in May what it brings and if it brings promotion lets see what it brings the following May.

Under 21 year olds are fine in addition to the 25, as I've been told on here.
So no big deal.

I haven’t commented on their quality, but the quality we’re looking for is in the context of the championship not the Premier League. I’m not saying some won’t be good enough for the Premier League in time, but if they were ready now then Premier League teams would have been in for them and they’d have cost more money.

Yeah. If only we’d have loaned players from Brentford and Southampton when we were in the Premier League.

I agree, and my main issue with the previous regime was not so much who they signed for "the first 11", but who the club paid fortunes to for absolutely no return. It was unsustainable.

Not sure that’s correct, is it? I thought it was just unattached players who can sign after deadline day?

We have our full quota now so could only use it for outgoings either way.

I think it is free transfers only. We can have more loans, but can only name a total of 5 in a matchday squad.

I think you got the wrong end of the stick with my post here, I’m saying that we wouldn’t have been signing first team renowned players had we been in the PL, which is what the poster I was replying to was suggesting.

And who were these fortunes paid to Bill? I'd say Pope Tarkowski and others have repaid the club in oodles. Not to mention colossal profits on Gray, Wood and McNeil and others. Name me a club in the top division that hasn't lost out on some buys.
