Cracking read Tony. And \like you, I hope it's a very long time before we see that ref again.
Re: REPORT: Christmas Number One
Yes CT, spot on about Benson and his second goal, he has the knack of crossing into nightmare zones for defenders and keepers, he has done this for Vitinho (Millwall) and Zaroury (Reading) as well as Sunderland and yesterday.
Special mention to the run by Rodriguez making sure Steffen had to move late as he had to be sure Jay didn't get his head on it.

Agree re. Benson’s crossing. It’s these more gently clipped ones he does that do this, more so than the ones he tries to whack, which seem to go anywhere!

Indeed those Benson crosses look so innocuous and yet are so dangerous.

Re: REPORT: Christmas Number One
Boro forum similar to most of our opponents over the past 15 games. Most just said ‘they were far better than us’ with just a few saying that we weren’t all that and that it was down to fine margins and the ref bottling the penalty decision. It is interesting how many commented on our physical superiority. We really have worked on this and it has paid off

Great pic behind the article. Watering the pitch and snow on the hills. Beautiful

Good report that, spot on regarding the ref - absolutely shocking.
And bodge has it right r.e. Jay... great run across the box which left the keeper in two minds what to do, so he did nowt.
