Considering how willing VK has been to use Barnes, I doubt we’ll be sanctioning any charitable moves, especially with his salary. Pace certainly will be wanting to get some value from them. Lowton I can see, perhaps Long.

Regarding Weghorst I read somewhere very recently that Burnley did still have a recall option on his loan and that Besiktas had not agreed to an obligation to buy and only had a loan deal which did not have any agreed transfer figure as part of any option to buy. I think VK seeing Taylor as a CB who also plays LB has hampered his chances of getting on the bench as we don’t need 2 CBs.

It’s a shame for him though, the lad needs games. A loan to the end of the season would suit all parties.
