Muric - 8. Heart in mouth stuff still out of instinct but good grief some of his passing here was Pirlo-esque. I worry every time he's actually tested and so worry about how he'll do in the Prem but for a team dominating play he's developed into a superb sweeper keeper.

Roberts- 8. Good performance all round. I do still prefer Vitinho but Roberts is playing well of late.
Ekdal- 8. Very composed, astute defender. Reminds me of Gary Cahill.
Beyer -9. If Tella hadn't got a hat trick he'd be my MOM. Can't sing his praises enough, the only player I've seen and thought "how do we have this guy?" like him was Defour. Has to be signed permanently he's incredible.
Maatsen-9. Defensively impeccable, much moreso than even a few games ago. Lively going forward. Seems to level up every few games.

Cullen- 9. Quiet man who makes everything work.
Brownhill -9. Commanding performance.

Zaroury -8. Electric first half with his runs but his crossing wasn't there. Not brought into it enough second half but their defence was terrified of him.

Gudmundsson -8. All action. Attacking midfield but swapping to left wing or dropping to left back to cover Maatsen. So glad he's got a new deal.

Tella- 9. Brilliant hat trick, should have had 4. Stay on his feet more first half and it could be a 10.

Barnes-9. Consummate target/link man performance, Preston just couldn't move us back while he was on and some incredibly clever plays and feints, unlucky not to score. He just thrives on derby days.

Foster - 6. Glimpses but the whole team took the foot off the gas at 3-0. You can see how much his teammates want him to score though, hopefully it comes against Watford.

All in all a staggeringly dominant performance. One that somehow leaves you feeling underwhelmed at 3-0. Preston aren't a bad side but we made them look abject today.

Suppigging performance. First half I’ve never seen all eleven players in their half when not chasing the game we were so good, despite worrying at halftime we were only 1 up.

1st half was the best half from us this season. It should have been 2 or 3 nil up by HT. But that's testimony to the quality and confidence running through this team at the moment. It didn't feel like a derby game, Preston played into our hands and left our wingers with plenty of space. A word for Tella, his all round play today was exceptional and the effort he puts into his performance came through today with his hat trick. His 2nd goal was a beauty. Proud to be a claret after watching that today.

Muric - 8 - passing range and execution is amazing for a keeper
Roberts - 9 involved in terrorising PNE out wide
Maatsen - 9 - ran all over Preston and another involved in terrorising them out wide
Ekdal - 8 - very solid with the odd sloppy moment, bargain at 2.5m
Beyer - 9 - assured, composed, elegant i could go on
Cullen- 10 - unassumingly brilliant, the absolute heartbeat of this team
Brownhill- 10 - non stop, he’s either pressuring opponents and nicking the ball or moving to show and receive the ball.
JBG - 9 did exactly what was needed with minimum fuss
Tella- 10 - No words needed.
Zaroury- 9 think the full back is still spinning. Terrorised him all game (though quieter second half)
Barnes - 9 - led the line brilliantly. I think he’s playing the best ‘football’ of his entire Burnley career.

Foster - 7 some neat touches and promising signs.
Cork - 6 -(stolen from Spice) steady away but the game had drifted by then.
Obafemi - 6 thought he did ok out of position and after so many changes

Absolutely sensational. I’m in complete and utter awe of this team. How on earth can we be so good.

Can’t wait to see us test ourselves week in week out in the PL. Dross like PNE are simply training sessions.

From tv (and half a dozen bottles of Mahou)
Muric 8 his passing is incredible for a gk. Starts so many attacks.
Roberts 8 fully involved everywhere
Ekdal 8 anothet very impressive game, his positionning and reading of the game are excellent
Beyer 9 what a player he is, outstanding at this level.
Maatsen 8 another top class game.
JBG 8 here there and everywhere, with shedloads of skill and experience.
Cullen 9 did everthing a good midfielder should do. Such a key player in VK's system.
Brownhill 8 in their faces, yet still creative.
Tella 10*, first time ever I've given a 10, enough said.
Barnes 8 great to see him playing football, excellent link-up play.
Zaroury 8 that first half performance was Leighton Jamesesque.
Foster 7 first time I've seen the signs of a good player. He will develop quickly in our system.
I thought the Norwich game and this local derby might cause us a few problems: oh my, my, we won them both 3-0 at a canter. I can't remember since when I last enjoyed my football so much.
