Trafford had an early scare there.
Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Another defensive mistake from Newcastle and we don't make it count. Started so well so it's frustrating we're not more composed and clinical.

1-0 NUFC
Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
And there we go. We haven't taken our chances.
Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Ramsey at fault. This league is so punishing.

Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Every goal against us is so easy
Usually comes after us looking "good" and giving the ball away too easily, followed by a shot that the goalie won't save

Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Very poor from Ramsey!

Same old.
Better team by far, don’t take chances, make an error. Bang.

BBC Sport: Goal! Newcastle United 1, Burnley 0. Miguel Almirón (Newcastle United) left footed shot from outside the box to the top left corner. Assisted by Kieran Trippier.

I can never get these to work, without them sending me to gambling or porn sites!tarkys_ears wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 3:11 pmhttps://soccerlive.app/soccer-stream/ne ... ey/1211555
Streameast is alright atm
Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
It was a great finish but Ramsey has had an absolute stinker there. Criminal at this level to give it away so easily in that position.
Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Really frustrating and to be honest, it's pretty poor. Yes a fantastic finish but so easy from their point of view. Ramsey dilly-dallying, no pressure on Almirón.
And talk about not taking our chances.
Absolutely classic Premier League punishment.

Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Its just so typical of this league and level again.

Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Everything about our defensive play screams naivety — we are sorely lacking premier league experience in that area and it is costing us dearly at the moment

This team would be so comfortable at this level if you just dropped Tarkowski and a 28/29 year old Cork into it.HyperClaret wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 3:19 pmEverything about our defensive play screams naivety — we are sorely lacking premier league experience in that area and it is costing us dearly at the moment![]()

Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
It’s the closing down for me, we miss a Tarks/Mee that when someone is running at us, they will do everything they can to get in the way of the ball. Throwing bodies to block attempts at goal, too many times this season dangerous players have picked the ball up, picked the spot and found it.
Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Don't disagree but they wouldn't help us to be more clinical, and we really need to be more clinical.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 3:21 pmThis team would be so comfortable at this level if you just dropped Tarkowski and a 28/29 year old Cork into it.
Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
We’ve given it away cheaply too many times. Taylor, Roberts and now Ramsey.
It’s difficult enough without gifting them the ball and inviting unnecessary pressure.
All that said, there are still some really promising signs.

Just too much time on the ball in dangerous areas.CryerBFC wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 3:22 pmIt’s the closing down for me, we miss a Tarks/Mee that when someone is running at us, they will do everything they can to get in the way of the ball. Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Yes. The chances we’re missing are killing us. Amdouni isn’t a striker. Lovely player to watch and supremely talented but I’m not convinced he makes our best eleven once Foster is fit.

Luton beating Everton
Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Three men round Koleosho now.
Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
From what i saw the ball was slightly behind Amdouni
Not the easiest chance
But crap from Ramsey
Koleosho out right again ?

Re: Clarets Vs Newcastle
Yep. We've missed way too many chances. And with the defence we have we have to take them. That Amdouni one was about as easy as it gets at this level. You just knew it'd come back to bite us. And I agree, he's lovely to watch but not sure where he fits.jedi_master wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 3:24 pmYes. The chances we’re missing are killing us. Amdouni isn’t a striker.
