Nagelsmann speaks highly of him too. Must admit, I like the sound of this link despite not knowing his name!

Also with the same bookie Bellamy and Parker have drifted like the proverbial barge.

Re: Next manager
This is clearly the hidden ‘other name’ that has been repeatedly referred to throughout this process. The fact this is the one that never got out does make you wonder if the others were smokescreens?

Looks a very sensible move by Pace to appoint Bellamy and Jackson for a bit of continuity until timings are firmed up for manager with other commitments right now…

So where has this rumour come from for Kasper Hjulmand? .. I can't see any reports anywhere.... Surely it can't be just off a betting app?

Blimey....all these tactical formations are doing my head in...whatever happened to a couple of pints in the pub and a few ciggies before kick off then just give your all on the pitch...elbows in ribs, head butts were deemed a fair challenge etc....great days...great games.

Re: Next manager
erm - just a couple of points - are we saying that the Danish bloke has been interviewed twice in the last few weeks whilst managing a team at the Euros - if so, must have had the Danish FA's permission to speak to him - even by the standards of this board that's unlikely in the middle of a major tournament.
Announced next week? What happens if Denmark progresses?
His odds shorten - well, that's down to CT confirming a whisper he may have heard - this board dictates who bets on what.
Working here in Strasbourg Viera is not the most popular man in town after an underwhelming season and there are rumours he is on his way out - I don't know anything for sure - but this would fit the third unnamed man hypothesis.

Re: Next manager
It's not unreasonable to assume that he already had an agreement with the Danish FA that was going to leave after this tournament to go back to club management. Therefore the Danish FA would be well aware of his interviews.brexit wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 10:21 pmerm - just a couple of points - are we saying that the Danish bloke has been interviewed twice in the last few weeks whilst managing a team at the Euros - if so, must have had the Danish FA's permission to speak to him - even by the standards of this board that's unlikely in the middle of a major tournament.

Where’s the actual substance to this link? It’s like someone mentions a name and the next thing we know everyone thinks they’ve got a job. We’ve been here before with about 7 or 8 potential candidates.

Re: Next manager
wow, you will pick an argument with anyone. So you actually believe that the Danish FA have given him permission to speak to anyone during the tournament? In what world would any responsible management do that?burnley007 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 10:25 pmIt's not unreasonable to assume that he already had an agreement with the Danish FA that was going to leave after this tournament to go back to club management. Re: Next manager
In the last week alone we have had
RVN - close to being next manager then day later he’s going to United
Parker and Bellamy - the two are are in main contention
Tudor - that people have been told to keep an eye on
Kjulmand - who randomly appeared on the bookies odds from nowhere and then CT said he had been told that name previous
Ole - jumped on the odds after being mentioned on bee hole end as having 2 interviews

Only I was the first person to mention him, and I mentioned him because he jumped into the Sky odds from nowhere immediately at 10/1 within a matter of minutes. He had not been mentioned on this board or anywhere else.brexit wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 10:21 pmerm - just a couple of points - are we saying that the Danish bloke has been interviewed twice in the last few weeks whilst managing a team at the Euros - if so, must have had the Danish FA's permission to speak to him - even by the standards of this board that's unlikely in the middle of a major tournament.

Denmark finished bottom of their group at the 2022 World Cup with 1 point, it may have been their best performance at a World Cup for 20 years, not checked their result history, but it isn't anything to write home about.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 6:30 pm“Attack minded Kasper Hjulmand replaced pragmatist Age Hareide in slightly controversial circumstances and was thrust in at the deep end at Euro 2020.
