We don’t have a clue about him. He’s hardly played for us, just games against Shrewsbury & Crawley other than some late sub appearances.Rowls wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2024 10:31 amWhen you take a look at Egan Riley's pedigree it's second to none.
He has represented England at every age group from U15 - U19.
His career stalled two years ago with him barely making an appearance for us. He's still only 21. I can't help but suspect there's something more in his tank, something we can hopefully coax out of him.
I saw him at Shrewsbury in the League Cup where he played centreback and he looked very assured.
Here's hoping he can progress.
Apparently impressed at Hibs until picking up a serious injury and then loaned out to PSV reserves for the second half of last season.
Whatever happens to him, this is going to be a key season for him. If he’s not going to play for us then he’s going to have to move on to get some first team experience.
If he stays then he doesn’t have to be included in the 25 man squad but only just. He avoids it by one day.
