Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
My brother's arrived at my parents' old address where they haven't lived for about 5 years, fortunately the new owner still had their details and gave them a call to collect.
I actually find it pretty funny that the club manage to cock up almost everything they do when it comes to communication/administration etc.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
You're right, it would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic, amateur and downright frustrating. A multi million pound business/operation with a chad valley IT system and an incompetent IT manager. Truly shocking.Rileybobs wrote: ↑Fri Aug 09, 2024 1:05 pmMy brother's arrived at my parents' old address where they haven't lived for about 5 years, fortunately the new owner still had their details and gave them a call to collect.

If it wasn't the sort of business that has a loyal customer base, that's unlikely to go elsewhere and/or change allegiance, they would have gone bust ages ago. The only realistic alternative is for fans to pack it in and pursue another interest.
Boy, am I getting old or what ?

They should stock big flappy shoes and spinning illuminated bow ties down at the club shop. Not to sell, but to give to staff members to wear.
Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
To be fair it's probably some total cock up higher up than the poor guys getting stick in the offices and on the phones, we received 1 of 3 tickets this morning, all registered to the same address! if they have sent son in laws to his parents address that's ok, if they have sent mine to my old address then it's gone as the new occupants are crazy!!

Ditto.
Deja vous from last season. Made the first home game an absolute joy, here was I thinking I won't have to do all that queueing again.
I've been at this address for over ten years, all my away tickets are posted here.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Mine arrived yesterday in the north-west corner of the Lake District.
I've never had any problems with receiving season tickets, or away tickets, but obviously some people do.
Surely it can't be that difficult to get it right?

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
It just shows this board is invaluable at times , after reading the previous comments and not having had mine delivered
( although it came to the correct address last year )
I called at my previous address , yes it was there .
It really is a shambles the ticket office and somebody needs taking to task .
However it will probably somebody low on the ladder who gets the blame instead of the ticket office management

Just going off personal experience. I don't live in Burnley, and since 1973 have always had my season ticket in my possession for the first home game

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
My sons arrived (Oxfordshire ) and mine was sent to my brothers parents in laws in Solihull, an address my brother used to use for his Uk Mail years ago. His wife’s hasn’t arrived but his did with mine.
Only link is I’m friends and family with my brother.
Oddly bought a shirt a month ago and that was delivered fine and last years ticket arrived fine.
Luckily it’s been retrieved and forwarded on now but it’s really odd the club haven’t addressed / acknowledged the issue yet.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Informed them of a change of address in late June. Read this thread and thought I would check. Sent to old address. They sent download instructions and I've managed to download for the next game and will go from there.
Re: 24/25 Season Tickets

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Tickets arrived today. Grandson's says 'under 12'. Previous ticket was 'under 18' and paid for that again. Also, it's in North Upper and as far as I recall they don't do 'under 12s' other than Jimmy Mac stand.
Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Mine went to an address I've never lived at! My ex-wife's address to be precise who has subsequently moved. How in the wide wide world of sport did that happen? What an absolute circus

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
I moved house on the day we won the Championship at Deadwood and all my away tickets have been coming to my new home no problem.
No prizes guessing where my season ticket arrived some time last week.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Mine arrived in Broughton, Preston, yesterday. Must admit I had my doubts that it would arrive in time, and I certainly wouldn’t have bothered queuing up on the 17th to get it. Probably would have just asked for my money back, as a certain amount of apathy has set in anyway.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Still received nothing so no doubt it has gone to my old address despite TO assurances the address had been updated. Without a chance to get down there before next Saturday looks like some time spent queuing up will be needed to sort out this completely avoidable mess.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Had a chat with a group of season ticket holders today, quite a few had been sent to the wrong address, my dad's were sent to an address he moved out of 4 years ago, he's had a season ticket from 2 addresses since so god only knows how they've done that.

They couldn't have cocked this up any better if they'd tried!
