I have been offered a name, and jungle drums are adamant it's not a wind up. Same guy once again that gave me interest in Mejbri and Billing before anyone else mentioned it.

I feel like it must be a wind up cause it's like a devine entity must have seen my post from yesterday when I said I didn't know whether it was all strategic, informed choices or blind panic. Well ill tell you now and see if you come to the same conclusion as me.

We have enquired about an Ivorian chap at WHU who has one or two issues with his fitness.
WHU sorted out his injury issue. They sent him to a specialist who found the problem and he had an op to correct it. He was out a while and couldn't get into the team when he came back.

This, and the supposed enquiry for Ings, strike me as the actions of a board who are scratching around desperately for something they think will appease the fans.

We desperately need Brownhill to stay for the season now. That’s an absolute must

Window closes Friday.
Match on Saturday, that we mustn't lose. How sad is having to write that.
Two week break for SP to know who is in the house and get them sorted into his system.

Can we take loans after the window closes in the EFL?

An angry fan base means likely less club sale value.

Be more departures so it’ll need more than 6 signings in 3 days.

Crazy thing is, I’d have had him down as one of the ones we should sell to recover a fee before the last few weeks unfolded.

How many loans are we allowed, and does the loan window extend beyond the end of the transfer window? Because we’re still well placed to take some players from the likes of Chelsea and Man City and this was of course integral to our success last time. But one of the problems is that some of the supposed imminent incomings seem to be loan with option/obligation to buy which will obviously reduce our options.

Now the report is in The Sun I can speculate that I suspect that was done for Parker not an agent. It’d make sense, he said he didn’t yet know his players well enough. He would have to quickly decide who we should let go.

But such a document is like a top secret “eyes only” thing. What level of incompetence lets it get out like that? Sending it on social media? Businesses use encryption and password entry nowadays for corporate secrets.

It is what the term sh1tshow was invented for, but I’m so grateful to Williams and co for getting what will be north of £150m. It gives us a chance, this season or next (20 games till the next window). Very easy to imagine only getting half that for these players.

As for Foster, I just hope to God the buy still happens if they drop (which they will). Because there is surely no return now for any of these players who want out.

Pace will be nowhere near the ground on Saturday. And if he is, he certainly won’t be doing his pre-match walkabout.

If we’re really enquiring about Ings and Cornet, as much as I’d love them, it really does suggest we have had no plan whatsoever.

The rumour has come from a post on here a few hours ago from an account created tonight
Parker has known of Fosters desire to leave for a while and known about his refusal to train since yesterday so I doubt he’s waited until tonight when a deal has been reported by a journalist to decide to walk.

I’d love Cornet back. If he’s fit he’s the best winger in the league by a mile.

Perhaps the board are looking at short-term profits to pocket rather than a long-term increase in sale value which would be reliant on us being in the Premier League.

Loan window doesn’t extend no. Hannibal is a permanent deal now so only 2 of these supposed incomings are loans.

Mmm. I suppose loan deals are easier and quicker to get over the line so it’s hard to see past us taking advantage of this.

So players leaving before the window shuts now are:

Out
Weghorst
Foster
Amdouni
Koleosho

Think Brownhill and Trafford will stay

Which leaves us with the task of bringing in
2 strikers
2 wingers
A number 8 or 10
A CM

And that is the bare minimum

Seems all that was made about the mood in camp being much improved since SP joined was total rubbish.

None of them bar Esteve seems to want to play for him.

The best team we can put out on Saturday assuming everything stays as is on the incomings and the expected outgoings go?

I don't anticipate any falling through but not sure it's a good idea to thrown new starters in, team cohesion already shot at.

There’s no limit to the amount of loans you can have but only 5 can be named in each match day squad

Ipswich making all the same mistakes that we made.

Honestly will be supporting every team that Ipswich plays against, petty but I need cathartic release.

After the 12m deal for Humphrey’s I’m almost hoping we don’t do anymore in deals

The less debt we’re left with the better
That surely can't be correct??
He's done nothing. Are we run by lunatics??

What’s the odds on McNally being top scorer for us this season?

An angry fan base means likely less club sale value.
They can sell it for a pound having made millions. Face it lads, we’ve been had. Sold down the river. Absolutely screwed. I can’t see a recovery from this in my lifetime or ever, for that matter. An extremely sad time for all of us, to say the least.

Wonder what the likes of Ekdal, Beyer, Redmond and Ramsey make of all this. No escape for them.

Re: an earlier comment. Why would SP turn to the Academy manager for an assessment of first team players. Far more likely to use Jackson or even Bellamy.
No he won’t walk, massive contract in his back sack.
