I don’t think anyone really ‘gives a ****’ per se, but with everything surrounding the club being an unholy mess over the last seven days, it was just a nice piece of comical relief.
The pressure is still very much on, as you say.

Fair enough. They should have a first draft of the 2024accounts about now. I think our net losses for 2022 and 2923 were circa £30m. So possibly we are facing a fine that the Americans will not finance
If that was the case the frantic selling would have been in July so the fine wouldn't happen.
The combined figures for 2022 and 2023 were combined £254,000 profit.

Kieran maguire suggesting something similar on twitter.. cant post the pictures but the accounts show a higher level of leverage than many of us thought

More than likely meeting his agent in London, and then fly together to Lisbon.
Update - he went through arrivals not to transfers so you might be right.

Good, someone on here can read a set of accounts and add profit/loss together for 2 years and get the right answer.
For what it's worth, I'm predicting a profit for 2023/24 accounts. However, this thread isn't about the club's accounts, we've one or more other threads for that topic.
Welcome Hannibal.

Heard from a reliable source that Ipswich are considering a loan move for them, with an obligation to buy at the end of the season. No medicals, but a good announcement video for Foster is needed before terms can be agreed.

Let's just be happy if we get him out of the door for the time being. Nothing personal about the man but we really don't need the uncertainty he brings as a player. Consistency in team selection and fully commited players it must be because I believe we have the right manager at this level

Because they haven't evolved in any way. A good idea initially, but it needs to grow and get cleverer. It's just the same cack over and over.

So Vitinho is off too. I’d say we need another winger on top Anthony and Sarniento. And if Koleosho goes, we could potentially have 4 new wingers.

One of the FBs had to go. I like Vitinho but Roberts is top class for Championship with E-R and Sambo fighting for the bench behind him.
£7m is more than many thought he was worth after his early appearances.

Given Zeki was getting off a plane at LHR at 1035 this morning, and this was posted at 1115, his travel to Portugal must have been facilitated by Dr. Who. Not saying that's not where he's heading but there's a bit of artistic license going on here.

Praise where it is due, some of the value extracted from the majority of these deals is insane.
If they were in isolation or spread out over 2/3 years everyone would be buzzing.
I am becoming more and more sure that the 'process' that we keep being told to trust is that ALK do not necessarily see the PL as critical to their strategy, just a nice bonus.
The MUD recruitment is working well from a financial point of view if not on the pitch.
