Do we think Hannibal plays the full 90, sees red or we pull him off to save him?
A half time orange will suffice.

I guess the ref is going to give every marginal decision to this DL side.

We were given benefit on the penalty which I would have wanted if that was us

Hannibal and Worrall both a significant risk of not seeing out the ninety minutes.

Glen Little
Ex-Burnley winger on BBC Radio Lancashire

This is Leeds away, you would expect a few challenges.

You have got to mix it up a bit - get stuck in.

Its hard not to when you've got this atmosphere

But any ref wouldn't. Properly seen as a normal interception, whereas the e examining of entrails by VAR would say touch of player before touch of ball. Pen. Rubbish. Not football.
I've no idea what that means.

Agreed about the pen.

I was intending to add that it was while we were leading that he's giving the marginal decsions for DL.

Interesting 1st half. Midfield not great and Humphrey’s not looking like a right back. Very good on counter and Fleming looking like a good buy. Fortunate to be ahead and room for improvement but given the circumstances very happy to be a goal up.

Impressed with Hannibal’s passion and his work rate, but very unimpressed with his discipline (ridiculous yellow card for running into Solomon’s face) and the quality of his passing.

Ref an absolute shocker. Think it was a pen. Messed up with Flemming. Worrall never a yellow. Anthony never a yellow. He's a shocker.

Need to cut that straight ball between the FB and CB out. It is what is causing the issues. Sort that and we look fine.

It's early days and yes back in the Championship... but I much prefer this type of football. Direct counter-attacking football with the ball played at pace along the ground. Top stuff.

Trying to 'draw a press' to play through - passing between defenders/keeper at the back and players standing on the ball... I find it very boring.

Ampadu did the classic "foul someone and then pretend you are injured " routine. And the ref bought it

We need to be incredibly disciplined in the second half

Nice one Hannibal left his studs up when he clattered him
Yes definitely knew what he was doing. 50% protecting himself, 50% 'have some of that.

The referee has lost the plot in the final few minutes, coinciding with the penalty incident, he as much as the players needs the fifteen minutes to calm his brain down.

We can't give them situations to get onto the referee, he's ready to cave in imo.

It’s definitely on the cards for the ref to give them something after the decision not to give them a pen. Fear it may be a red card.

Ampadu got a full foot of studs between his shin and ankle, I believe he was genuinely injured but maybe he should wear shin pads bigger than a postage stamp.

Good half so far away at probably our biggest rivals for promotion

Think Cullen might be needed this second half to help us retain the ball a bit better.

When we break though we look absolutely electric.

Special mention to Koleosho I’m not sure he’s suited particularly well to right wing but my god is the lad putting in a shift. Great finish also

We didn’t play any team as good as Leeds 2 years ago.

Leeds have the second highest possession so far this season.

We were never going to show up today and try and dominate the ball, and rightly so.

Did I say that? I also said it was early days.

I found a lot of the games in the 22-23 season boring but great to win in the manner that we did (in large parts because of the quality we had off the bench late in games)... It massively failed when the level of opposition went up mind.

Laurent has no pace whatsoever, we need Cullen in centre midfield. I thought it was defo a pen for them. We look sharp on the counter, our pace is killing them when we get the ball forward. Hannibal needs to be told not to pull shirts and make stupid fouls. Trafford made a couple of goods saves, needs to speed up his distribution. We will need anothet goal, I feel .

Work rate from both Koleosho and Antony to get up and down and contribute at both ends is incredible.

Can see why Benson will never be a starter as he just doesn’t have the work ethic needed.
