Re: January Transfer Window Rumours
Redmond is a class act and class player, I thought he did well last season but didn’t play much and had his injury. What we don’t know is how his fitness stats are impacted by his injury and whether a move to L1 is deemed the best he can do for now.
For all our players who have injuries and illnesses they will have all their output measured in training, and they may be “fully fit” but may not be “Championship match fit”. It’s one of the things we as fans never know.

Everything seems to indicate that Oliver Sonne's future is in England. Sources close to the player assure @infobaeperu that "the possibility of a move to Burnley exists, but nothing has been decided yet."

The Bundesliga is also looking for a move. Possible immediate exit.

Not that I’ve seen us linked but Tom Fellows at WBA would be a good shout. 7 assists already this season. Watched him on Sky against Coventry and he looked tidy. Used the ball well.

Re: January Transfer Window Rumours
Just looked this lad up and he looks tall and a very tidy player. Likes to check his run and pass backwards so I can see why we’re in for him

Not much footage of him doing the rounds so hard to make any views but I wouldn’t say he looks the fastest. Looks a little bit more like a good signing for the Championship than someone for the premier league. Also just seen on here that he was a target in summer though so good to see us following a plan. That would make sense given the Sambo loan fell through.

He is some player-seen a lot of him at Leicester. Can see someone like Wolves going for him, but I dont think he will drop to the Championship. We do however seem to have a good relationship with Chelsea

Agree totally but he might be happy moving to a top Championship side rather than a bottom of the PL team. He would be a great fit with Parkerwarksclaret wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 12:11 pmHe is some player-seen a lot of him at Leicester. Re: January Transfer Window Rumours
Agree-I was being cautious about him joining knowing he could get into a number of PL teams (bit like Ferguson at Brighton who recently was linked to us). Dewsbury Hall is a real box to box midfielder but is also a natural goal scorer.

Again not a rumour but more an observation from Coventry, I thought the young lad up top Basette was lively and seems full of spirit and confidence, ran the line and had the CBs working all game.

Looks like we've signed someone nowhere near 1st team level, he won't be the 1st.

Sambo hasn’t been given any minutes apart from left wing in cup against wolves, hountonji another one signed who’s nowhere near the level.boatshed bill wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 9:05 pmLooks like we've signed someone nowhere near 1st team level, he won't be the 1st.
Tresor
Sambo
Hountonji
Delcroix
To make room for a left back, right back, right winger and striker

Don’t know how good sonne is but anyone that is an international must have some pedigree. I think players from leagues like Denmark and Norway are exactly the leagues we should be looking at for talent at good value

Re: January Transfer Window Rumours
Will be good to have another option there because Humphreys just isn’t a right back (very capable at CB/LB, so no slight on him). I hope Roberts stays at the club as he’s performing at his very best in my opinion, but it’s also a good eye to the future considering his contractual position.

The plan is probably to have Flemming and foster on the pitch at the same time so I could see this new right back playing the right wing role that Vitinho played in the first 2 games

Re: January Transfer Window Rumours
What I'm most surprised about is that there are no reports linking Leeds with Oliver Sonne.
Re: January Transfer Window Rumours
Watched the first half with my dad on Sunday, he’s not mobile enough to get to his seat now however he’s watched a lot of the Clarets in his time and now all of them on the tv. He doesn’t read social media, said to him pre match that Humphreys would go into right back. He thought for a moment (must be difficult for the old timers to keep up with the turnover of players) and said , he’s the lad from Chelsea, he looks quite good.
I said that I thought he was quite highly thought of in the England U21 set up. Think Worrall mentioned Humphreys when he did commentary for a game.
I’ll say it again, these young lads are finding their way in the game, they will make errors and bad decisions however that is just part of their development. One or two bad passes and nowadays players get judged by that on social media.

I believe he is now back but was injured from playing a game for one of the reserves/u21 games or whatever they are. He was a regular on the bench and getting a few mins but not seen him for a while now.
