Seat Swap

Post by ClaretSam92 » Wed Feb 05, 2025 8:56 pm

Evening all,

Is anyone familiar with how the seat swap will work using the online ticketing system? There hasn't really been much comms from the club as per usual. I've never swapped seats before, will it be the seats which weren't renewed during the renewal period that will be available?

Thanks

If you can I’d suggest going to the ticket office. Only had hassle in the past online. Sorry if I’m not giving you much hope. Last time I did it was after the VK promotion season though so wasn’t a lot of choice. I suspect there will be a lot more choice this time.

Good 50 currently queuing outside the ticket office, maybe a few who can't stand the people sat next to them!

I’ve had to go down to try and sort out an existing one that doesn’t appear to have had the direct debit gone through. The queue is a few deep and almost down to the club shop. There is only one serving.

I hope your not suggesting that they could have anticipated being busy on seat swap day!

I’m doing a queue survey and there are a good number in there who have had no renewal confirmations.

Ditto, it was very easy once I located the correct button, however it does not look like you can actually swap with an existing seat holder using the on-line facility, you have to swap into an already empty seat.

Our block of 4 seats are all set to auto renew -
2 have
2 haven’t - 1 of which is currently available to seat swap

Can’t contact the club as they’ve disconnected the phones for all departments.

Am starting to wonder why I bother

That’s our issue with one not having auto renewed. All the phones appear to be switched off this morning.

Log in to your online account.

Go to the ‘Your Next Game’ page scroll down and the Seat Swap option is there below Notifications.

Click on that and then the Stadium seat map should come up.

Hope this helps. UTC

I spoke to someone yesterday who had auto renewed 6 Season Tickets, the problem was the two child tickets had changed to adult full price.

When you click on the “swap seat having ticked the “select all” by doing that you don’t lose your current seat do you whilst looking, I assume you can click back to keep your current seat, thought I’d check.

I was finally assured (in writing) last week that my daughter’s season ticket was set to auto renew, but we’ve had no actual confirmation that it did. I got a receipt for mine, but not hers. She doesn’t have an online account. I’ve emailed them again (on Tuesday) and had no response and can’t get through on the phone lines.

I guess I’ll have to just hope she’s still a season ticket holder.

Hopefully you’ve not been given a seat belonging to someone the club ballsed up automatically renewing.

No you don’t lose your current seat. In fact it’s highlighted as a black spot on the seat map. Just click on the seat you want and the rest is straightforward.

I’ve been down twice and returned home, when I saw how long the queue was. Thinking I’d be stood waiting for at the very least an hour.
I’m going to return and hope there’s less of a queue. Is there a possibility the Club would extend the deadline until tomorrow, if they’ve not sorted out the people who are in the queue. No doubt some people will maybe finishing a 2pm shift and turning up and not expecting to see so many people. How many staff are dealing with the exchange seat enquiries.
