Foster will never score, will he? Another sitter.

Just seen the replay. His weight is all wrong.

Parker needs to have a word with Fleming and Anthony that Foster has been ignored twice on the left.
For good reason.

The ball is bouncing off Flemming and bouncing around their box - his close control and ability to lead the line is precisely what we're missing today.
Point taken.

We've been aching for Fozzy to get his pass and when he finally gets it he fluffs it. That's typical

Foster's so bad lately, remember when one or two people here thought he'd bag 20 this season?

Last kick of the first half explains why no one wants to pass to Foster. Couldn’t hit the net if he was stood in front of it.

I'd be sticking Sarmiento on the left for Foster for the 2nd half, he might be not having a great season either but his pace and dribbling is far better than Foster's.

Played very well previous 2 league games. Once he has the ball on the ground (apart from that shot)

Preston very physical as expected. Pitch awful. Fleming and Foster dreadful.
Get Barnes on to hold it up front. Sarmiento for Foster. Brownhill for Laurent

And that's why Foster is a 1 in 12 merchant. He is simply clueless in and around goal, he will never be anything of note in the goalscoring stakes unfortunately

Saying that though it's an acceptable performance so far, nothing more. We really are missing the zip in our passing so far today but that could be down to a pitch that looks in awful condition

Foster is faster than Sarmiento. If Sarmiento came on it would have to be in the number 10 role.

Too many off their pace and skills today
Flemming showing why he is not a No 9
Anthony really poor with his final ball
Laurent gone missing most of half
And that miss from Foster
Thank God PNE look poor as well

Not a great half. Too slow on the whole, but the pitch is playing a part in that - it doesn't look the best! Foster has to score, no excuses for that. Keep it tight, and then make the changes to win the game in the last 20.

To be unfair to Foster he had the space and time to set it and hit it. It’s a bad miss at the end of a poor half from him.

Not that he’s alone in that though. Lacking intensity throughout and all a bit compressed. Changes required, shame we can’t sub the pitch.

Has Foster scored since Luton in the league?

With the players we have now in the squad, we can’t be making excuses for certain players anymore.

We’re getting towards crunch time, and if players aren’t up to it, they are out.
