Just to put things into perspective, Morecambe do not appear to have any U21s in their side today, they are all first team players and 7 of them were in their squad on Saturday against Walsall

That's a great test for the young lads. Better than what they've been getting recently in some very one sided games.randomclaret2 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 2:01 pmJust to put things into perspective, Morecambe do not appear to have any U21s in their side today, they are all first team players and 7 of them were in their squad on Saturday against Walsall

Yes, they are playing virtually a first team and they lead 2-0 which sees us go out

Is this a reserve team cup then rather than an U21s competition?

I think we should enter the lads in the EFL trophy thing.

We almost got in for the 2021/22 season but missed out by one place. You have to be Cat 1 and of those Cat 1 academies it is those clubs who finished highest in the first team leagues who get precendence.
