I seem to remember us being in TV first match, when we won the league.

You can bet with some degree of certainty we will be bottom of that list come the end of the season...irrespective of how we actually fare.

We were the only team to play the champions (Chelsea) and not be on the telly the first weekend.
They missed a cracker.

Re: TV Games per club 2025/26
Strange decision not to show it but Sky showed the full ninety minutes of the game during the pandemic when they were finding things to fill in with. I recorded it at the time and have watched it a few times. Sam Vokes won our man of the match on here with Steven Defour second. Watching it again, I saw just how good Jack Cork and Robbie Brady were that day but Defour was something special.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Thu Jun 19, 2025 8:41 amWe were the only team to play the champions (Chelsea) and not be on the telly the first weekend.

Re: TV Games per club 2025/26
There's been an update to the 2025/26 table.
The Nottingham Forest v Brentford opening day game has had to be moved because of the cricket at Trent Bridge and so, under the new TV deal, is now automatically added to the Sky schedule.
So,
Arsenal - 1
Aston Villa - 1
Bournemouth - 1
Brentford - 1
Chelsea - 1
Crystal Palace - 1
Everton - 1
Leeds - 1
Liverpool - 1
Manchester City - 1
Manchester United - 1
Newcastle - 1
Nottingham Forest - 1
Wolves - 1
Brighton - 0
Burnley - 0
Fulham - 0
Sunderland - 0
Tottenham - 0
West Ham - 0

The average is going to be 27+ per team so there will be some very high ones for the perceived big clubs.Darnhill Claret wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 10:58 amPrediction

Poor from the Premier League for not doing this at the time the fixtures were announced, surely it was known England would be at Trent Bridge that day, how many Brentford fans might have bought train tickets for the Saturday only for it now to be moved.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 9:24 amThere's been an update to the 2025/26 table.

Yeah really poor that. Tbh i've held off booking train for our game at Spurs because i don't trust them to not move it yet.claretburns wrote: ↑Wed Jun 25, 2025 6:36 pmPoor from the Premier League for not doing this at the time the fixtures were announced, surely it was known England would be at Trent Bridge that day, how many Brentford fans might have bought train tickets for the Saturday only for it now to be moved.

Re: TV Games per club 2025/26
I've been assured ours won't be moving - no logical reason for it to and with seven of the ten already on TV I can't imagine anyone would want it moved.

Be surprised if they do. Got a feeling they'll want to let the Jota tragedy calm down a bit more first.

Never be surprised by TV companies.
Was told last night that ITV are showing the Liverpool friendly this weekend away at Preston and it is on the main channel

Re: TV Games per club 2025/26
I only saw it was tomorrow because it has been 'leaked' that Everton are away at West Ham on a Monday night in September and their fans are in uproar. If true it means our City away game wouldn't be on the Monday but take it all with a pinch of salt.

Unfortunately they do seem to have the ability to miss the dates.
