No problem if thats what they want to do
I got one today from northern rail for my trip tomorrow
Not for one minute did i think they sent it out late I'm not travelling till tomorrow

But some prior information/communication as to why the backup was considered necessary would alleviate concern by people. Especially when we've never had this previously!

Why would anyone be concerned, it clearly states what the email is

Well for a start, the QR codes on the original email and the 2nd one aren't the same!

Burnley wouldn't be able to create a QR code that allows you access to Old Trafford

Whichever one you want to use, then the other will be cancelled, like if you use the season ticket in the Burnley app, you couldn't then use the one in your Google wallet

They are very definitely Burnley tickets and not United tickets. Only had that once before at Swansea last season.

I suspect that none of these tickets are the clubs anymore. It’s all controlled by ticketmaster, who Utd also use. So there will be an option for Utd’s ticketmaster account to make the various QR codes for the away supporters available to the Burnley ticketmaster account and send the follow up emails for both the digital tickets and the QR codes. Why they have resent it might not be even known by our ticket office. It could just be a ticketmaster thing.
