Re: Deadline Day
The above explains why any serious season predictions should only be made once the summer window has closed.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Mon Sep 01, 2025 4:46 pmafter yesterday you have to believe it was going to be hard to stop them, they've since added the best striker in the league and one of the best defenders. They spent over 450 million this summer.

Re: Deadline Day
Will be a good signing for them . He would bring a real balance to our side
Re: Deadline Day
"Brighton attacking midfielder Facundo Buonanotte has joined Chelsea on a season-long loan.
There is no option or obligation to buy."
Is it just me or does this seem a bit "strange"?

Re: Deadline Day
Glasner will be fuming if Guehi is allowed to leave Palace without any defensive reinforcements. Looking quite possible with less than an hour until the window slams shut.

I’d be surprised if they haven’t asked for Esteve.kentonclaret wrote: ↑Mon Sep 01, 2025 6:07 pmGlasner will be fuming if Guehi is allowed to leave Palace without any defensive reinforcements. Looking quite possible with less than an hour until the window slams shut.

I’ve commented before that every deal between BHA & Chelsea looks strange. I’ve even mentioned money laundering with some of the excessive fees that Chelsea have paid.

What have Liverpool and Arsenal spent this window - about £400m each?
Pointless even trying to compete in this league for us. Get us back down to the Championship asap.

It's the money they get for their rejects too. Liverpool got 219 million euros through the door, with a lot coming from unproven players at the top level

Why are Sunderland snapping up all the good strikers all of a sudden? Can’t we have one of them and they take Flemming?

Re: Deadline Day
It’s not necessarily the amount you spend but it’s what you get for the money. The big clubs also waste a lot of money on overrated players. That’s what we can’t afford to do.

This one makes no sense.I don't know how he got on at Leicester last season but why would Brighton loan him to Chelsea? Chelsea under Maresca have got back winning.
DL were apparently after him. That would have made sense.

Can't believe Bayern are going to spend 70 million(includes loan fee) on Jackson from Chelsea. He's looked absolutely rubbish to me.

Joel Cotterill has just signed for Bristol Rovers. Is that who you are talking about? If so he’s not related to Steve but he is the cousin of former Birmingham and Wales international player David CotterillNonayforever wrote: ↑Mon Sep 01, 2025 6:34 pmBristol have signed a young midfielder called Cotterell, is he Steve's son ?
