Worth remembering that we are ALL Clarets at the end of the day and that no-one likes any of us.
While that's technically true, it's worth remembering that some of us are better than others.

Imploding Turtle entertains. He just does. I likes his passive/aggressive ways. He's no fool. Won't be treat as one.. Knowledgeable about many subjects & will whup your ass verbally if you underestimate him. Just don't go there fool
He knows how to use the net & control discussions. He should sell his own merchandise too
Rowls & Turtle say what you want to hear or don't depending on whim. Two interesting posters I enjoy reading
IT is at his best when he doesn't sign in then does

I've no idea who claretdiver is. Nor do I care but this thread was close to page two again and I needed a legitimate reason to post so I'm fabricating interest in him as a means of elevating this thread to the top of the board, where it belongs.
A sticky would help, Tony.

Research, research, research that's ITs strength.
I don't know how he finds the time. Unless he employs staff?
BTW I always thought it was butterfly venom, from another place.
Happy to be told I'm wrong.

I don't find myself disagreeing much at all with the points IT makes, which is not that he and are necessarily aligned, but that his research based PoV is difficult to contradict.

i like turtle , even when hes wrong hes right and when hes right , hes only a little wrong, a classic Verisimilitude ,
he believes he possesses a Brobdingnagian mind . regardiing his IT warrior skills its his Pandiculation , and some of his politics are Superannuated .
some of the posters who take him on get absolutely Lateritious, as he tries to Disambiguate them, but more often than not leaves them discombobulated and they end up Absquatulate the board.
im quite ebulliant about Turtle , even though at times he does spout Effluvium, but then dont we all.

Re: Imploding Turtle
The thing with Imploding is that you always need facts over gut instinct and feelings otherwise he'll give you a good verbal kicking.
Here is a made up but typical style example:
Poster: I've never voted in my life because I think all politicians are crooks and if they weren't they'd end up like Kennedy.
IT:
Did you grow up in a commune or something? Do you really believe that this planet could survive with that kind of worms eye mentality?
You really are a special kind of stupid aren't you?
I'd go into great detail about how stupid you really are but I'm due somewhere else before Christmas.

I occassionally (far less often than people think) call people stupid. i much more often call their opinions stupid, which stupid people take to mean that i'm calling them stupid, but i'm not entirely sure i'm the bully of this website. For example, I never make things up about people i'm "arguing" with, or get personal with my attacks. Not like some people. Here's what a few minutes using the advanced search function has thrown up.
