Early kick off this Saturday-City

Post by beddie » Thu Feb 01, 2018 10:06 pm

Just a reminder for anyone like me that had completely forgotten (until just now) it's a 12:30 kick off this Saturday. I've forgotten once before and believe me it's not a nice experience rushing to get there. If this post helps remind just one of you then it's been well worth it, especially after we beat Pep's boys.

Early kick offs are shite.

Footballs 15:00 Saturday or 19:30 Tuesday. Anything else is shite.

A week today I will be jetting off to that very place.

Where about's are you?

I will see the Swansea game on tv there but miss Southampton as we will be landing back in Manchester at 5.15pm. on the day of the game. Just when you wanted Sky to shift it to the Sunday.

Very early start for me. It's the journey home when I feel the tiredness more than a 3pm no, owing to abnormal get up.

In order to get to burnley Manchester road by 11:12 I board a train at 5:45am. It is the time when my family and friends think I need help.
They don’t understand why I just don’t sit at home and watch it on SKY.

Off topic. But when you go to Baga if you fancy a change from Indian try Chef Soumyens and A Reviere. Outstanding. Both are easily 5* quality but cheap as you would expect. A Reviere especially is very impressive if you have an occasion.

Pink Chilli is also a good Indian up that way.

No.....well possibly, burnley 1..0 against Sheffield utd was on a Monday under OC. And we beat Blackpool 0..1 on Good Friday under SD with that kightley goal to more or less secure promotion.

'Latest news ahead of tonight's match against Man City! '

Does anybody know which day and at what time this match kicks off?

Drove up and stayed over M6 horrendous with the Highways agency roadworks and nonsense speed restrictions causing massive jams.
The time it is taking to complete works from Thelwall to Stoke is ridiculous.no work at all at weekends most of the time. Its a plan to bring in congestion charges by the back door

Currently on the 0820 from Euston to Manchester, then hoping the X43 is not delayed. At least back home for dinner.

No work at all going on, on long stretches from J19 to J16 during the week either. It's a disgrace how the Agencies condone lengthening the works, without finishing any off first. It's like decorating your lounge, needing a length of paper to finish the job, then starting on your bedroom!! It's a scandal, but they've raked in thousands in speeding fines during this time.

To all the travellers coming from far and wide. I'm humbled by your commitment. I'm only coming from Wigan and I'm kicking and screaming at the kick off time. As others have alluded to, 12.30 is no time for playing football. I'm still blaming the loss in the cup against Lincoln last season on this stupid slot.

Atmosphere last season on the 12.30 was shocking.

It's too early, I don't even think half the people are woken up yet. I know I hadn't.
