What's the allocation CT ?...my lad not been to an away game yet, and is dying to go to one.
He's got a disability ST as have I as his Carer, is there a separate allocation for this does anyone know ?

Club don't confirm allocations - but for disabled places you will need to speak to our ticket office and they will advise. Sometimes we can deal with it, other occasions you need to contact the home club, but that info doesn't tend to get released.ewanrob wrote:What's the allocation CT ?...my lad not been to an away game yet, and is dying to go to one.

Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Isn't there a very good chance that this will have to be re-arranged in a couple of days.
Wouldn't it have been more sensible to have a holding announcement that they are waiting to confirm the date and then put them on sale early next week or is the expectation that if it needs to be rearranged they will organise the new date on the Friday?
They also seem to be coming on sale when most people will just be leaving the Turf which is strange (but I seem to remember they've done this a few times).

I think we'll know when it is being played by the time the tickets go on sale. I've got it showing as the Saturday because that's still officially the date.aggi wrote:Isn't there a very good chance that this will have to be re-arranged in a couple of days.

Were there also train disruption issues on 5th May? Trainline indicates services from Manchester Piccadilly to Euston all Ok, albeit they are taking a bit longer presumably because of engineering diversions?

West Brom & Stoke both £25 but I think all the others prior to West Brom were at £30 with the exception of Southampton at £20 which is due to the deal with Virgin Media.Bordeauxclaret wrote:Have other clubs charged less that the £30 maximum this year?

What's engineering got to do with the railways?JohnDearyMe wrote:Engineering work on the railways that weekend sadly which might hinder some people's travel plans
Is it a bit of metal they're turning on a laithe in the middle of the railway tracks somewhere so they've got to shut down the whole network?
It's not like we ever have engineering works on the roads.

Booked train tickets a month ago £60.00 first class to Euston , if they change the match day I’ll have a day out anyway

Would like to think we'll take our full allocation for this one, with it being the last away of the season and potentially a massive game, not holding my breath though.

Arsenal went through last night so our match will be moved from the Saturday due to Arsenal playing the prior Thursday. Arsenal are also playing on the following Wednesday so the only option will be to move the match to Sunday. Not sure when the kick-off time will be announced, you'd hope it had already been discussed and the announcement was ready to go but we shall see.

Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
The problem with kick off time is that they have to agree, which I assume they have, and then it has to go to the Premier League for approval. I’d assume it will either be early afternoon around 1:30 or later at 4:00.aggi wrote:Arsenal went through last night so our match will be moved from the Saturday due to Arsenal playing the prior Thursday. And isn't it pathetic that this couldn't have been agreed and an announcement made at 9am today.ClaretTony wrote:The problem with kick off time is that they have to agree, which I assume they have, and then it has to go to the Premier League for approval. If Arsenal had got knocked out it could have stayed at 3pm Saturday and now it will be at some time on Sunday when we all have to make alternative travel arrangements.
Why are we still waiting?
Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Ive noticed that when a game has to be moved to Sunday and its not a televised game the kick off is never 3pm, it always kicks off at the same time as one of the tv games that day. Why is that? Ive never been able to find out why this is?
Our game at Stoke next Sunday is an example of this.

Sunday games are played at allotted broadcast times. No idea why but that’s the rule.Targetman wrote:Ive noticed that when a game has to be moved to Sunday and its not a televised game the kick off is never 3pm, it always kicks off at the same time as one of the tv games that day. Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Simple really. As of last night it was still Saturday. Now, assuming the two clubs have agreed, they will submit that request to the Premier League. That’s how it works.tybfc wrote:And isn't it pathetic that this couldn't have been agreed and an announcement made at 9am today.

With Arsenal’s further fixtures I think we can sssume it will be Sunday but it’s just the matter of the kick off time that we are waiting for.

Amazing that a contingency couldn’t have been agreed with the Premier League prior to this.
It’s really not difficult. But then fans are low priority to those running the game.

POYA award night on 6th May. If Arsenal game changed to Sunday 6th May, the POYA dinner will be held on bank holiday monday. That will pXXX a lot of people off who have booked overnight stays in Burnley for Sunday night. Lots of people won't be able to attend. Hope I'm wrong.

Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Yes, it will be on the Monday evening. The club have already informed ticket holders of this possibility and people can get refunds if they can't make it. The club have a waiting list of over 100. Unfortrunately the change of date is out of the hands of the club.claretman1 wrote:POYA award night on 6th May. Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Just got this from the club -
We contacted you earlier this week to highlight a possible date change to the Player Awards event. We can now confirm that due to a Premier League fixture change, the Player Awards has been moved back a day to bank holiday Monday 7th May 2018.
We understand that some people now unfortunately will not be able to attend the event, we are willing to offer full refunds for all event tickets purchased for these people. If you cannot attend and would like a refund, please contact commercial before 5pm on Friday 20th April 2018, if we haven't heard from you prior to this date, we will assume you can still attend and refunds will no longer be available. To contact commercial please call 01282 700007 or email commercial@burnleyfc.com
For those who can still attend, all tickets will be sent out on Monday 23rd April along with an itinerary for the evening.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and look forward to celebrating with you at the event!

Makes me chuckle really, we bought tickets for POYA, but then can’t go so got refund, now we could go because it’s been moved...
Likewise can now go to the match at Arsenal........possibly, just possibly a “we’re going on a European tour” game, and Vengers last.......
And some are complaining!
Maybe we should go back to the good old days of Darlington, Scarborough Torquay........
Hey ho, bring on the foxes!!!!!!!!!!

Sold out online at the minute. Presumeably they'll reload the system tomorrow when the Ticket Office staff get in work. Hope we haven't taken the minimum allocation!

Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
Think there's going to be quite a few disappointed fans if we haven't taken the full allocation! Last away game of the season, Bank Holiday weekend, unbeaten 5 game run and there appears to be a big interest in the game. Even when we took 3000 to Spurs this season Accy Clarets only took 2 coaches but for this game we've got 3 fully booked! A bank holiday w/end in London. Our last away game on the season. 6th v 7th. A "6 pointer" for 6th place. I'd have thought that Mike Garlick would have wanted to take the maximum allocation and reward Sean Dyche, all the coaching staff, all the playing squad and all the club's away following for our most successful season, to date, in the Premier League era.ClaretTony wrote:I don't think we've taken the minimum but I doubt we'll have gone anywhere near the maximum either.

It will be a bloody joke if we haven't take every ticket offered.
We can afford it if we don't sell them all and as has been posted the supporters who have travelled away all season deserve the chance of a ticket regardless of their points total.
There will be a lot of fans booked transport / hotels banking on getting tickets.

Be amazed if we don't sell out a massive turnout from out fabulous exiles and Cockney Clarets remember that night at Fulham they came in their hundreds proud of their roots bringing their children who finally got what their dads passion was all about

Wouldn't be surprised at all if we've not taken full amount. Surely last away game of the season it's worth risking a tiny loss to have as many Burnley fans there as possible?
Re: 2017/18: Arsenal v Burnley – Ticket Information
I would find it absolutely astounding if we haven`t taken the full allocation of 3000!ClaretTony wrote:I don't think we've taken the minimum but I doubt we'll have gone anywhere near the maximum either.
It`s bank holiday weekend, it`s our last away game of the season, cheap tickets and possibly a decider for 6th place. We are having our best season for decades and yet it seems from this post above that we haven`t taken the full allocation.
Really staggering!!
Does anyone know who makes the decision regarding away allocations or is it top secret?
