Whilst the gangs don't represent all Muslims, have you noticed how the Muslim community doesn't tend to report anything they know or have concerns about and when it all comes to light some of them will try to blame the victims and not the gangs?

Similar to white people who find out their partner is a child abuser but stand by them or refuse to accept it.

Both sides guilty of ignoring a problem when its right in front of their eyes.

So according to some tin foil hatted folks on here there is an establishment conspiracy to protect the identities of a gang of pedos because of their religion, and this is far more likely an option than a bloke with a history of being in contempt of court pleading guilty in court of being in contempt of court.

This thread really needs to be separated into two (or maybe three).

On the one hand there is the 'Is Tommy Robinson guilty of being in contempt of court, and should he have been sent down?' debate. Clearly the answer to both is yes.

On the other hand there is the 'Those who think he's guilty are tacitly supporting pedos' debate. Clearly this is rubbish. Nobody agrees with pedos.

Then there is the side issue of 'The mainstream news doesn't accurately report cases of Muslim men raping/being pedos and more should be said' arguers. This is a whole different kettle of fish and really should have its own thread so as not to conflate it with the above issues.

That is right you can vent any criticism you want about Islam and you can also criticise any one that interprets passages from the Quran and acts upon them in a way that is at odds of modern society.

What you cannot do is discriminate against an individual follower of a religion just because he follows that religion or slur members of a religion just because of disgraceful acts of people who happen to follow a religion. However you can criticise a perceived community’s silence in covering up crimes and that silence only happened because they followed the same religion.

I think people struggle to differentiate between the two, but this is encouraged by Muslims who scream racism anytime some dares to mention an issue with Islam, so it's just become accepted that it's a race, when really it's just a religion.

It isn't helped by dim-witted Non-Muslims who also link Islam with race in their little minds.

Disliking Islam shouldn't be treated any different to disliking Christianity etc.

It appears to me to go massively beyond all concepts of freedom of speech. He was behaving in a completely unacceptable way outside of a courtroom and was lucky to get a suspended sentence. As has been said several times above - his behaviour could have led to the collapse of the case.

I tend to treat people as I find them, their religious beliefs aren't an issue for me as a general rule of thumb.
Unless their beliefs cause them to act in a stupid or harmful manner.

It isn't illegal, nor is it racist.

If he made specific claims against people from Pakistan or Afghanistan then that would be racist, I haven't checked his posting history though but Muslims come in all different colours and races, like most of the major religions.

Sounds quite blood thirsty and barbaric. I'm glad I don't live in the dystopia you describe.
