Great news for Froome and SKY. I am sure the bitter French will be trying their hardest to stop him from winning the Tour again......

Sky and Bradley Wiggins.....I doubt anyone believes them to be totally innocent of cheating where he's concerned!

Still a drug cheater, relied on performance enhancing drugs his entire career, now he's been caught doping his career is tarnished regardless of what he wins or has won.

What utter rubbish - read the link.

He took Salbutamol for his asthma... I’ve been taking it for 12 years ( daily)
I wouldn’t be able to breathe without it... I would collapse, no doubt about that.

Eve though the World anti doping agency has accepted there was no breach and recommended the case is dropped?
An you able to provide evidence that Froome has 'relied on performance enhancing drugs his entire career'?

Im guessing not.

I doubt Barcelona and Real Madrid and Spain.

There is no proof either way but we both have doubts.

Look at the shady history of Team Sky, factual evidence they've cheated in the past, CF constantly ill yet riding so well, he failed a urine test with 2x the amount of salbutamol in his system, a banned substance. In my opinion his reputation has been tarnished.

Fair enough then Maria Sharapova and Justin Gatlin shouldn't be allowed to compete but they are,to the average Joe or Jane in the street, most suspect the Tour de France and other cycling endurance events are littered with drugs, the prime example being Lance Armstrong.

I agree with you KRBFC one strike and you're out,but the problem is proving that these athletes are taking performance enhancing substances,in this case the benefit of the doubt has gone Chris Froome's way. It would be typical of sport if he won the event after all the prior controversy.

I think all sports are littered with drugs and swept under the rug, it's a joke really especially on the clean athletes.

Quotes from the article:
Froome was only 19% over the limit - not double as has been previously reported - when the adverse test was adjusted to take account of dehydration.

20 other tests conducted on Froome during his victory at last year's Vuelta a Espana did not need any "further explanation".

The same individual can exhibit significant variations in test results taken over multiple days while using exactly the same amount of salbutamol.

This means that the level of salbutamol in a single urine sample, alone, is not a reliable indicator of the amount inhaled.

Salbutamol isn't banned and this was one adverse result in 20 over the course of the race. There are many factors that can cause this and without consistent over dosing no advantage can be gained.

Flower it up however you want but you are pretty unambiguous in saying he is a cheat - you are quite wrong to make such a statement - sounds libelous to me - disgraceful. The man has been 'tried' and found not guilty - what makes you the arbiter of justice? The feeling of safety behind your keyboard may just bite you one day!!

Wada describes lack of drug testing in Spanish football as ‘alarming’with no testing across country’s various levels, including La Liga, since March 2016.

Instead of getting all antsy about Froome get your teeth into some real drugs cheating. Ronaldo body shape no drugs? Just saying no proof but no testing.

WADA have thrown the case out so haven't found the evidence to convict him of drug cheating so by that account he is innocent. Froome will be one of the most if not the most tested sports men/women on the planet. If he was a cheat we would have the evidence by now.

(THIS IS MY OPINION)

The Chris Froome case is not about illegal drugs, in fact you don't even need a theraputic use exemption for it.

Taking into account dehydration he was 18% over the threshold, but WADA are satisfied that you can take the same amount of medication several days running and have fluctuating levels in the blood, in order for Chris Froome to have been taking more than the allowed dose the levels in his blood would have had to be elevated on more than one day.

Essentially it allows Chris Frome to control his asthma which he has had since childhood anyone thing his medication is a performance enhancing drug is misinformed.

Edit.

To put this into context WADA are far more concerned about non compliance to Drug testing in Spain than they are about someone taking legal medication.

Spain = Rogue drug testing nation probably second only to Russia.

Just my opinion like.
