Trump and the Two-State Solution
Trump and the Two-State Solution
Irrespective of whatever I personally feel is the best solution to bring an end to conflict in and around Israel, it is just staggering how clumsy and inconsistent Donald Trump is.
Is he really just plain thick or a damn good actor?
After doing his best to counter the idea of a Two-State solution in Israel e.g. by recognising Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, he came out with this in a news conference held in the occasion of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly:
"I think probably two-state is more likely," Trump said at a news conference in New York. "Well, I think the two-state will happen. I think we'll go down the two-state road."
But "if the Israelis and the Palestinians want one state, that's okay with me," he added. "If they want two states, that's okay with me."
Is that statesmanship? It reads like the words of a sixth-form college student doing an oral exam who quite simply hasn't got a clue what he's talking about.

He's so stupid that he can't even be allowed to be interviewed by the Mueller investigation because he doesn't think he can trust himself to tell the truth. It's not difficult to tell the truth, unless you're corrupt as **** of course.
So, is he stupid and clean, or is he smart and corrupt?

He's a businessman not a politician and for that I say thank God because the current crop of politicians aren't fit to clean the toilets at Turf Moor. No idea. Re: Trump and the Two-State Solution
At least Trump does mention "one state", unlike the cowed down Corbyn. His support for a two-state is totally disingenuous when you take into account the realities on the ground.
The Single-state Solution Is Already Here
Now, of all times, out of the fire and despair, we must start talking about the last way out: one Israeli state with equal rights for both Jews and Arabs.
Gideon Levy

The Single-state Solution Is Already Here
Now, of all times, out of the fire and despair, we must start talking about the last way out: one Israeli state with equal rights for both Jews and Arabs.
Gideon Levy

"... One state already exists here, and has done so for 48 years. The Green Line faded long ago; the settlements are in Israel, and Israel is also the settlers’ land. The fate of the two million Palestinians who live in the West Bank is decided by the government in Jerusalem and the defense establishment in Tel Aviv, not by Ramallah. Maj. Gen. Yoav Mordechai, the coordinator of government activities in the territories, is their ruler far more than Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas is. They are clearly part of the binational state and have been its subjects, forcibly, for some three generations. This state has three regimes: democracy for the Jews; discrimination for the Israeli Arabs; and apartheid for the Palestinians. But everyone lives in one inseparable state.
The binational state that was born in 1967 is not democratic. In fact, it’s one of the worst states in the world, because of the military dictatorship it upholds in part of its territory – one of the most brutal, totalitarian regimes in existence today. It is also one of the most racist states, since it determines its residents’ rights based solely on their nationality. This is the one state that is washed in blood right now, and will continue to be washed in blood as long as it remains in its malicious, nondemocratic format.....
..Now, of all times, out of the fire and despair, we must start talking about the last way out: equal rights for all. For Jews and Arabs. One state is already here, and has been for a long time. All it needs is to be just and do the right thing. Who’s against it? Why? And, most important, what’s the alternative?"

Investigations into Trump - still ongoing but five guilty convictions so far, and there is no way its stopping there.

Hillary never committed obstruction of justice to hinder an investigation into her. She never fired someone because they were investigating. She never refused to testify for fear that she couldn't help herself from lying. Trump has done all of this plus a lot, lot more.ClaretMoffitt wrote:Same with Trump, literally exactly the same thing.

Yes, Trump is clearly corrupt as ****. No one who is innocent conducts themselves the way he does, and nor do they surround themselves with so many obviously corrupt individuals.
Just look at who he's found to nominate to the supreme court, ffs.

He even owned a university that was nothing more than a means to scam its students.

All Trump supporters are either racists or apathetic towards racism. Just look at how they react when a black person gets "uppity" by protesting something.
They're also quite apathetic towards sexism too.

They wanted someone like the warmongering Clinton in office instead, they don't like something different.
Trump rocks the boat far to much for their liking.
He appears to be an idiot, but he's saying the right things for a large swathe of Americans and they're willing to overlook his obvious failings.

Trump and his team spotted an ideal opportunity to seize/wrest power in the US away from the usual lifetime politicians and they did it.
With some outside help of course, but you don't jump into the job of US President by being one of the most stupidest people ever.
He's also holding on to power at this moment in time and if there was another election now I think he's still garner a decent amount of votes, bizarrely.

Destroying evidence is a serious crime. If there was evidence of her doing that then why hasn't she been prosecuted? I'll answer for you, because she didn't.
I don't even know what "total denial of her private life and true character" is supposed to mean. In what way is that a crime?
What has her donors and lecture fees got to do with anything? If they are evidence of corruption would you like me to show you how the Russians donated to Trump's campaign via the National Rifle Association? Does Trump attracting donations from white supremacists mean he's a white supremacist? Because that's the logic you're implying is valid if you're suggesting that Hillary is guilty of the crimes of those who donated to her, which is really ******* stupid.

Re: Trump and the Two-State Solution
He is just looking after American interests and probably his own. There's a huge amount of Jewish money involved in US politics. Saudi too but both are anti Iranian backed Hezbolah. A two state solution won't work though. Palestinians quite rightly think of it as theirs and the Israeli's are an occupying force. Flip the card and the Israeli's regard it as theirs. It's possible to have a two state solution I guess and it's better than nothing, but neither side will ever give up claiming it as theirs.ecc wrote:Irrespective of whatever I personally feel is the best solution to bring an end to conflict in and around Israel, it is just staggering how clumsy and inconsistent Donald Trump is.

Re: Trump and the Two-State Solution
The two state solution is the only way this ever gets sorted out BUT how you do that while
- satisfying the territorial claims of both
- compensating the people who would have to move, or were forced to move years ago
- Jerusalem
One thing is for sure, and that is moving the US embassy to Jerusalem does more to hinder any hope of a two state solution than anything that has happened for at least a decade.
And that is all on Trump.
- satisfying the territorial claims of both
- compensating the people who would have to move, or were forced to move years ago
- Jerusalem

Why do you people keep providing sourcing that does absolutely nothing to support the claim you say it supports? Did you think i wasn't going to check you on that or something? At no point in that clip does it say Trump called off the prosecution, probably because it's from before he was elected, but what's more is it shows you just how ignorant you are. If the president called off a prosecution that would be a far bigger scandal than Her Emails™.
Yes, she was irresponsible, just as irresponsible as previous Secretaries of State. And no, it's not a trait you want in a president. Far better to have a racist president who is completely owned by a foreign government, right? Not only is Trump corrupt as **** in a way Clinton isn't, he's even worse than Clinton when it comes to handling classified intelligence. He just goes right ahead and gives it to the Russians, when he's not openly and publicly calling for them to commit espionage against his own country. But Her Emails though, right?
Clinton wasn't perfect but the idea that she'd be worse on any level than this shower of corrupt **** that is in the White House is even more stupid now than it was before the election. Trump is going down so hard he'll want to pay himself hush money to keep quiet. If you're going to be as corrupt as Trump is then you better also be at least a little bit competent, and that's why Trump is ******. You better get used to the idea now because when he resigns in disgrace i'm going to take great joy being smug about it.
