It is looking really really bad for Russia at this point. You just wonder if they will change tactics because at this rate 40 days from now they will have lost up to 60% of the forces they sent.
I just hope we can keep sending weapons they need to keep up the war on Russia.

At the moment it sounds like the EU are set on a course of we stop only when Ukraine decide they have re-secured their borders; but, that I think we can assume (at least at the moment) Ukraine considers not only the Donbas but also Crimea. The political climate may we change when ‘electioneering season’ ends, not least in France; but, at the moment the ‘we’re doing most to support Ukraine’ ticket is still a winner and each nation falling over themselves to claim it, and that is good news for Ukraine.

It’s been reported they will take the city tomorrow, so they will be able to cremate the bodies and deny it even happened and the west will have no proof.

Huge pinch of salt Lowbank it wouldn’t be a surprise if it is true but a lot of things have been put online from the Marine Brigade there which have a real smell of a trap for the Russians. It could all be true of course

Having watched the events in Mariupol I am truly shocked,upset,angry. If I was young enough I would go over there and fight those evil bstards, what's the saying if good people do nothing evil flourishes. I realise these things are incredibly complicated but the rules/laws are set by our authorities. We ordinary folk have to jump through hoops to open or close a charity account dealing with tens to hundreds of pounds but billionaires and their accountants negotiate them with ease whatever is done.

Sure there is a lot of noise and some token gestures on Oligarch assets but when the dust settles I reckon it will be business as usual.

I can't help but think this is all smiled on by our governments and banks, not to mention accountants.

This is a bit odd. They haven't removed the 'Z's identification markings and one of the crew seems to have a white arm band - Russian ident.

Well spotted, so it could in fact be some form of subterfuge by the Russians to lay blame/add credence to the outrageous Russian claims that the West are destroying Ukraine and laying the blame with Russia. I hadn’t noticed that, I guess I was partly taken in (by assuming it captured).
