He's not especially young at 24.

I've not said what the reason was, just replying to someone who would prefer to stick with Benson and Zaroury. I would agree had they both continued their form from certain times in the championship season, but for whatever the reason they didn't, and that's where we are at.
To be fair you have to actually play to be able to continue any sort of form.

Granted Zaroury didn't pull up any trees on loan but whilst I can accept people saying Benson isn't a 90 minute man I think anyone who has watched him play for us knows he's a match winner at this level.

If we sell Koleosho now after all these sales we really must be up sh*ts creek. It looks like we are in a considerably worse position than when ALK took us over and looks like complete mis management. If we have a bench or team like at Sunderland ( or worse) it could get very unpleasant on Saturday if we lose.

Yeah he’s the complete shock for me of the window, I had him nailed on to stay

Anthony and Sarmiento. Just knew it. Both left wingers so Luca is off. Properly disappointed.

In mission to Burnley 2 Matt Williams mentioned some players had wanted what if kompany leaves clauses putting in. He laughed and kind of joked it off. Think it’s clear what’s happening. Anyone who’s fit and young who Kompany signed is off
That would only make sense if they were all signing for Bayern Munich. No-one is going to leave Burnley to go to Ipswich or Plymouth or Wolves just because they want to be managed by Kompany.

Still not had an answer to why they have decided to throw promotion for what will make us less money. Do they genuinely think we can do both?

Of course they do, don’t let your frustration of potentially losing koleohso (who we are want to keep) cloud your judgment that both players are good players

Since when did we become a fanbase to write off players before they have even signed

Trabzonspor bid 4m for Brownhill. 4m euros to me more precise.

I really hope someone doesn't think it would be a smart deal to sell him

Underwhelming if I’m being honest, especially if we’re losing Koleosho. Both Anthony and Sarmiento regularly on the bench for Leeds and Ipswich.

Stop being a victim and don't be deliberately disingenuous then.

I didn't particularly mean that explicitly stated you want them shut, I'm referring to the narrative that seems to be happy with flogging players that have performed well for us for no good reason.

Both were bench players. Anthony 1 goal in 31 games.

Completely underwhelming given the amount of money we’ve made.

Funny how these so called ‘sell for 100 million’ players that VK alluded to have not been snapped up or even been linked to at Bayern Munich 🤔

Given that Wolves were priced out of O'Shea at about £13 mill then I can't see them being in the running for Koleosho. Thought they didn't have funds available?

People can disagree with the owners model of selling just for good profit which is fine but let’s not write off players who have clearly been identified by our now head coach, let’s give him a chance.

As opposed to not being in the matchday squad, occassionaly being on the bench or being loaned out like Zaroury and Benson?

Just asked a Leeds supporting mate about Anthony. I was expecting a negative response based on the stats but he was impressed by him, but just couldn't get a run in the side because of Summerville.

Maybe some of those coming in are to try and also find a solution to the 7 homegrown issues that RV rightly advises on. And maybe that was why the bench/selection was in the state it was Saturday, with players advising they don't want to be here anymore etc. A lot of if's, buts and maybe's but was there enough in the squad for those who did want to be here to field a stronger 11? Probably reaching, but just trying to understand the impact of the situation of players not wanting to play for us and move on, and then the 7 player rule.

I’d rather sign players on a perm and build than over pay on wages for Solomon for 12 months and then still need a winger next summer

I’d rather sign players on a perm and build than over pay on wages for Solomon for 12 months and then still need a winger next summer
I'd rather maximise our chances of automatic promotion by signing quality and then cross that bridge in the summer.

I’d sooner have players that want to play for us. No point otherwise.
Parker knows Anthony.

Just asked a Leeds supporting mate about Anthony. I was expecting a negative response based on the stats but he was impressed by him, but just couldn't get a run in the side because of Summerville.
Same sort of reply with what I got.
