1718 burnley adam bruce 00 500x500Last week we reported that both George McMahon and Kai Calderbank-Park had gone out on loan to Ashton United and Padiham respectively, and today a third goalkeeper Adam Bruce has made a similar move from Turf Moor to join Buxton.

Bruce was with the youth team during the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons having recovered from a cruciate ligament injury and he’s been part of the under-23 squad this season although, given the number of goalkeepers, he’s not had as much game time as might otherwise have been the case.

He’s now joined Evo Stick Premier Division club Buxton who play at Silverlands, the highest ground in England, on loan until the end of the season.

He could make his debut tomorrow at home against Stalybridge Celtic with regular goalkeeper Theo Roberts, himself on loan from Chester, currently out injured.
