1718 burnley ntumba massanka 00 500x500Having moved up to second in the table four days ago with the win against Bolton, our under-23s travel to face bottom club Hull City tonight in the Professional Development League and a win will take us, for now, within one point of the leaders Leeds United.

Leeds don’t play until Monday so it gives us a chance of closing that gap for three days although this will be no easy game despite Hull being bottom of the league. They’ve won just four of their twenty games to date but one of those was against us at Curzon Ashton earlier in the season. On that occasion they turned out a particularly strong team which included Jon Toral and Will Keane. On that occasion they beat us 3-0.

We are still looking for our first win against Hull in this league. Last season we drew 0-0 in the away game, played at North Ferriby, and then lost the home game 2-1 with Ntumba Massanka (pictured) scoring our goal.

Tonight’s game is being played at the KCOM Stadium with a 7 p.m. kick off. Admission is free to home supporters but no details have been published regarding charges for Burnley fans.
