1819 burnley dan moss 00 500x500Dan Moss was one of the eight second year scholars who learned five months ago that he wouldn’t be getting a professional deal or a scholarship extension at Burnley.

As was the case with a number of the players who received similar news, he left immediately and spent the rest of the season on loan playing non-league football for Lancaster City.

Today, he’s become the third of those players to move to a Football League club. Michael Fowler signed for Fleetwood, Richard Taylor has moved to Southend and Moss has now signed a short term deal at Millwall.

He is one of two new signings Millwall have made today to join The Lions’ Under 23 Elite Development Squad and the defender could just make his debut against his former club when we travel to The Den a week tomorrow for our opening game in the new season’s Professional Development League where he could come face to face with some of his former team mates.

Up the Clarets wishes Dan the very best at Millwall.
