1819 burnley steve stone 01 500x500Two of our away games in the Professional Development League have been given new dates, this week’s fixture at Hull City and the one postponed last week against Nottingham Forest.

The Forest game was scheduled to be played on Monday of last week, 4th February, at Alfreton, but was called off due to the weather. It will now be played on Friday, 5th April at Forest’s Nigel Doughty Academy with a 1 p.m. kick off.

This week’s league fixture at Hull was set to be played on Saturday with a 5 p.m. kick off. Hull have done this on a number of occasions over the past two seasons, playing their under-23 fixtures immediately after a first team home game in the Championship.

We were scheduled to play there this Saturday after Hull’s home game against Millwall but that game is off due to Millwall’s involvement in the FA Cup and they have now brought our under-23 game forward to this Friday with a 7 p.m. kick off. It will still be played at the KCOM Stadium.

These are two of the seven league games remaining with five of those seven away from home. Our two remaining home fixtures are against Watford and Colchester although a week on Monday we will play West Brom at home in the Premier League Cup.
