1718 burnley chris wood 02 1000x500Stephen Ward and Chris Wood (pictured) will still be missing when Burnley face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this Saturday.

Ward hasn’t played since the 1-0 win against Stoke on 12th December whilst Wood’s last appearance was the 3-0 home defeat against Spurs two days before Christmas. Meanwhile, Scott Arfield, who missed the FA Cup tie against Manchester City, is rated touch and go.

More positive news is that all three central defenders, James Tarkowski, Ben Mee and Kevin Long, should be fit despite all having had niggles, Tarkowski, like Arfield, being forced to miss the cup tie.

Sean Dyche has also confirmed at today’s press conference that Georges- Kévin NKoudou has looked nice and vibrant since arriving at Burnley but he did stress that he hasn’t played much football. “We think he can be productive,” Dyche said but it is likely that he’ll have to settle for a place on the bench at best this week although the manager has confirmed he will be involved with the squad.
