UTC Fantasy Premier League is four days from kick off
At 7 p.m. this Friday, with Manchester United set to kick off against Leicester an hour later, you will need to have you fantasy league squads finalised, teams selected and captains chosen for the kick off in the Up the Clarets Fantasy Premier League.
Already, with just over four days remaining, the prize fund has passed £300 so there is still plenty of time to join us for the big kick off.
Ben Gibson is still to be added to the game, but there are some big scorers from last season in the Burnley squad. Nick Pope (with 152 points) is unfortunately unavailable but all of Jόhann Berg Guðmundsson, Chris Wood, Stephen Ward, James Tarkowski and Jack Cork hit three figures.
Our players tend to be good value too. Wood, at £6.5 million is our most expensive player with Ashley Barnes and Guðmundsson the only other Clarets to cost as much as £6 million. Of course, you can only select three Burnley players and, looking elsewhere, you might have to pay a bit more, as much as £12.5 million for Harry Kane and a staggering £13 million for Mo Salah.
By joining the Up the Clarets League, you will also be supporting our Youth Foundation which in turn supports the academy at Burnley FC.
We’ve been running the league now for 14 years and always used the official Premier League game which is free to join. To then join our league there is a charge of £10 (£10.60 using Paypal to cover costs) and on receipt you will receive the code to join our league.
Each time an entry is received, the prize fund increases by £5 and right now, at the time of writing, that prize fund is £305.
What could be better, spending just a few minutes each week, potentially winning a prize and also supporting the club’s youth academy.
So what do you have to do? You need to set up your team, make your payment and join the league and take on those of us who are good and those of us, like myself, who are not so good.
Everyone can join, you don’t need to be registered for the message board, although we will POST a list of the entries on there along with the prize money, once confirmed.
