Two April games get television dates
Burnley have four Premier League fixtures in April and today the Premier League have confirmed that two of those games have been selected to be shown live by Sky.
Our first two games in the month, at Bournemouth and at home against Cardiff, remain on Saturday at 3 p.m. but the away trip to Chelsea and the home game against Manchester City have both been given new dates.
The Chelsea game, scheduled for Saturday 20th April, is the selected Monday Night Football game and will now be played on 22nd April with a kick off of 8 p.m. That game was always subject to a move should Chelsea progress one round further in the Europa League.
One week later, Manchester City are due at Turf Moor for our penultimate home game of the season. That game has been put back to Sunday, 28th April and will kick off at 2:05 p.m. This game could switch back to the Saturday, dependent on City’s Champions League commitments in the following week.
