Best Of Burnley Order form_Layout 1There will be a new Burnley Football Club book published next month from Dave Thomas.

His latest book is entitled The Best of Burnley – a Burnley FC Anthology and is a continuation of the two previous No Nay Never books although, with a new publisher, now under this new name.

Dave has kept his eyes open over the last two to three years for any Burnley related published material and this book follows the same format as the two No Nay Never books with chapters taken from various publications.

This time you can read about the 1914 FA Cup win and that team’s captain Tommy Boyle. Then there is Harry Potts and the 1964 cup game against West Ham at the Boleyn Ground. Former right-back and later manager Brian Laws features as does Roger Eli, there is the joy of programme collecting.

There is a chapter on the night public enemy number one Owen Coyle brought his ten years ahead of us Bolton Wanderers to Turf Moor, moving on to a paradise that is Doncaster and finally more on current manager Sean Dyche.

The book is published on 17th February, is in hardback with 208 pages of which eight are photographs. The cost of the book is £19 including postage to a UK address. Books posted to Europe will cost £27 and to Australia, New Zealand and America it will be £32.
